WOW what a trig completed – I drove to trig which I doubt it not many people have in many of year. As jonnosan says in his log the tracks don’t line up with mapping – I found this the case with my 2 off GPS’s. once close to trig I was on the marked track but up to that point at many times I was in no mans land. I entered from budthingeroo fire trail on google mapping budthingeroo horse trail. Then the track came to a T section & I went up the well unused trail – I mean unused in many of year. Had to stop many times to clear the track of tree branches. At times it was tight getting around trees & logs. I felt I was always driving away of trig & then suddenly I turned a corner & the metres started to tick down not up. This one ended up being the last cache / trig on a long drive around today. I’m am extremely happy to be to 1st to log that has driven out here. Thanks for the adventure. Clan Griffin

I parked at the start of the budthingeroo fire trail, which is unlocked and marked 4wd only. As it happens, my 2wd would probably have been fine. But it was a really nice walk anyway. The tracks marked on the topo didn't seem to match up with what was on the ground, so in the end I left the road and walked up the slope between the gum trees for the last 150M. The post has collapsed and is next to the cairn but the vanes are still on top.
