On my way to the blue mountains for a midweek caching trip. Only a few caches on the way. Then in the Mountains was all over the place between Lawson and Lithgow. Well last minute change after all those puzzles solved last night, I also had to detour via Portland.

There was a BIG reason to go caching today – reason 1 is -
The dragons are having a May Madness party. A 2 times dragonZone points bonus will be on offer for all valid Geocaching Australia dragonZone caches found, except moveables, for the period Sat 11 – Sun 19 May.
And Reason 2 is - I'm not insane, I'm a geocacher - Find 25 valid dragonZone geocaches in 1 day.
Well I figured I’ll find as many trigs in 1 day as posable & that was 29 of them.
So, for me this was a BIG day of trigging.
No 1 of 29 – the 1st for the day.
It was frosty – grass very wet & it still had frost on the grass – so I got very wet boots – in the end I found it nicely with a nice view up here. Many thanks again.

#GA3310 - 14:30; It was an early start to day two of the LuckyL10n, Sol de lune journey or destination tour as we take the long way to Bathurst via Dunedoo, Gulgong, Mudgee and a few smaller towns as well. Collected a few caches close to Dubbo to start the day before hitting a few more along the highway as we headed to Dunedoo, Gulgong and Mudgee for a couple more in each town. We stopped off for this one when reached the intersection of the Castlereagh Highway and the Great Western Highway as we turned off for Bathurst. Started off on the wrong side of the road, but crossed over and soon had a snap of the pin. TFTT Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Heading out to capertee for site visitors and stopped to collect trig. Was a bit puzzled at gz but when I looked down I found I was standing pretty much on top of it.

Heading home after nearly freezing last night up in the Wolomi NP (or near it - not sure). Stopped to check this one out.

After reading the description I assumed it was to be a circle of rocks, however, when I found a circle near the tippy-top, I found no pin but saw one just a little further on. In crazy winds I ventured out to snap a photo with my GPSr. Cool view from here! After not reaching the old duck at the Worm Tunnel today I was feeling quite deflated - the rush standing up here in the wind made new feel a little better.

I can see why Alnic39 hate hate hated it. haha. We went duck hunting together today with his son.

Now home via Mudgee and time only for a couple of caches - I choose GCA of course. 2 telephone booths. Smile

I hate heights...hate, hate hate! I hated this one...but I got the shot.

Stopped by on the way home from a weekend in the mountains and soon saw the plug...the views of the highway were different.

A day roadtripping alone around the general area. Easy park, a wander to the hilltop ... the trig point would be near impossible to seek but for the ring of stone. A good sweep of the highway from this point.

Fnd the plug some good soul circled in rocks.

Good to see the pin still there, shame the nice big stone cairn is missing now

What a wonderful view from up here today!

Drove past this one last week not knowing where to go. This time I'd researched it and took the Mudgee exit and parked then walked up the hill. The little stone circle makes it easier to spot but I had to remove a lot of leaves to find the plug. Don't know how the FTF found it!

Mudgee trip 2013. I messed up the approach for this and had to do some interesting turns to get back to the right spot. After that it was just a matter of finding the circle. Thanks

Another trig found with rogerw3 on our way to Genowland Trig.

Only one previous finder!

Guess this spot was considered a bit too remote for most trig hunters.

Only a little location pin remained but we had a grand view of road cutting through beneath us. (Don't stand too close to the unfenced edge, though . . .)

It has been a long time coming, but today pjmpjm and I were on a Trig finding mission and this was our first call.
This was an easy find with easy parking and a very short walk up the little hill to the circle of stones and the locating pin.
So close to the Great Western Highway and yet largely ignored!

Easy find. Only required a little bit of digging to uncover the trig plug in the middle of a ring of rocks.
