I had some intel on nearby aboriginal sites from a colleague (also a friend of both the previous finders), so I included a visit to the trig on my walk. I parked in Glenworh Valley Road and walked up through the Mt White Bush Reserve. Not for the faint hearted, with a bit of scrambling, but some outstanding rock outcrops. Great views over Mangrove Creek. Found some of my aboriginal sites, couldn’t find some others, and found some unexpected ones. All in all a good day out.

Here's another pic to suggest that I was there too. And to show the trig has a bottom. A cairn-y one! Lovely spot, but possibly tricky to get there if you don't catch the property owners. Plan B would have been to try approaching via the track to the west, but don't know whether this is private too, or not.

Despite pouring over the maps, Shankspony and I were still undecided on the best way to approach this trig as we weren't 100% sure which tracks were private versus public. In the end we decided to proceed and see how we fared.
Having concluded that most of the obvious approaches were indeed on private property, our next step involved obtaining permission to use one of the said properties as a thoroughfare to gain easier access. Having secured permission and after a few false starts exploring the terrain, we made our way to the trig via a scenic and spider-web filled route involving a few rock scrambles. Lovely spot and well worth the visit.
