From my last trig completed it was a little too early to make the home trip – so I turned to the app that I recently loaded onto my new phone & looked around what trigs could be found & was easy to find – the app is GA Cacher & this is the 1st time that I didn’t use a garmin GPS unit to find a cache / trig – may be a little behind the times but It worked A OK – interesting drive here & nice location to visit before I turned to home - thanks

Looking for things to do as the lock-down drags on past 100 days, Mighty Minions suggested I try some GCA trigpoints. After seeing what was available near home, I took advantage of the low tide to do a walk around the headland from Umina Beach to Pearl Beach, grabbing the Umina Point trig before continuing around to this one. No problems locating the trig point as it's one I've used as a waypoint for a couple of my caches. Many thanks for the listing.

There is no legal parking on the road up to this site, but if you are quick you can park briefly at the end of the road. This TrigPoint has one of the best views around, today a trawler was out to catch fish.

Came by to find the 'nearby' Barrel o GeoMonkeys cache, nice little pedestal and beautiful views. Walking back down the street to my car afterwards I noted an odd tall pole and closer inspection indicated it was "NSW State Survey Mark 79111" (as per pic, number might be wrong). I figure this could be a cache in it's own right? I claim FTF! Very HappyDancingClan Cerberus

We were in the rea to find a barrel of monkeys and had to walk right past this trig to get there so I stopped for a selfie.

Great views of the coast from here.

We'd come here to interrogate a snitch about some magic numbers and got a fantastic view as a bonus. This trig is rather understated but it is listed by the Lands Dept and sports the right symbol too. It's not clear from the 1996 survey that it's ever had a name; it might just be "PWD 459".

We were out here today looking for a WP for BFJ's GC62WZJ cache, which happens to be right at this trig. We've never been here before. Great views! We were here for about 70 mins exploring the nearby geography (kids playing in the nearby caves and I took off to find GeoMonkeys' nearby Barrel-O-GeoMonkeys II). Cheers. Pics attached.

Out with the bushwalking club today. We walked from trig to trig. This one the surf was pumping and was so great to get so close to lion island

Up in Umina for family business reasons and once that was done, some trigs and caches needed to be found. This was a beauty.

Found approximately 3:15pm. I was out here to do this Trig for the winter challenge and also do do the multi cache that starts from here. I figured this was a good opportunity to do both.. Photo attached. The views are great from lots of places around the coast. Here is another place.

Found on our trip to Ettalong Beach for the weekend. While getting the 'Barrel-O-GeoMonkeys II (Reload)', we quickly took a photo of this trig. Such a lovely view from here - absolutely brilliant! TFTC GCA! Clan Cerberus

Actually found this back on 19/11/13 @ 1612 while trying to do a Multi cache in the area. Proper name for the trig is PWD459, but Green Point is easier to identify where it is.
I had also found a couple of SSMs while in the area.

24-Aug-13
Found as it forms part of a multi cache.

12-Jul-12
Found on a Geosportz run but I got the points wrong and didn't need it now.

20-Apr-12
Found this one a while back.
It is used as part of a multi cache in the area.
