Out with Team Merlin collecting a few caches and came across this trig.

A Telstra Tower.....that's it......a Telstra Tower.

Photo grabbed, all good.

I had come down to Sydney from Taree to attend a class reunion just up the road, and with daylight saving over I didn't want to arrive too early so stopped off to grab this (and Pogson) trig. While it is possible that I have been out here at some time in the PAST I know I hadn't logged a find for Pogson even 'pre-GPSr'.
Took the photo and moved on. (Noticed a yellow dot spray painted on a 'telegraph pole' but couldn't see any SSM near by.)

A quick find while redeeming a DNF.

Driven past this enough grabbing moveables but never stopped. Today I added this to the list and attempted the couple in the nearby oval.

Pass this trig many times on road tests. Smile

I too, have driven past here quite a few time getting Gnomes and Frogs and Caches. Nice to add a Trig to the list. Cool Laughing

How many times have I driven past this spot? Not as many as pjmpjm I'll bet but it's plenty. So I didn't need a GPSr to find it!
Pulled up across the road on a cool autumn morning and took the shot.

05-Apr-12
Another Trig find with pjmpjm today.
An easy find this one, just remember that the smaller tower is the Trig, we can only assume that this was the first one built and then designated as a Passive Trig Point. Now of course there is a second taller tower next to it, but this one is not a Trig!

2TF with rogerw3 while on a trig hunting expedition to the Dural area.

I know this area well, having work around Dural for nearly 39 years. In fact, I have several caches placed not far from the Dural Telecom Tower.

However, in past years, I didn't realise that the tower was a passive trig registered with the NSW Department of Lands.

Thanks to rogerw3 for the publication.

Quick ride out along Quarry road to collect this straight forward trig. Been along here hundreds of times riding and more recently chasing frogs.
