I'm choosing to stay close to the sea breeze today... if there will be any in this heatwave. Doing a few cases along the coast whilst exploring it. This trig was one of them.

Oz Geomuster 2019 Wollongong at Cataract Scout Park. Day four was another day of caching around Wollongong wit Fitzy and MinnieK. We started by finishing the Wollongong LAB caches up near the Bulli lookouts and then went to the Pt Kembla CITO. After that it was a fun day of getting caches that a few of us as possible had not done before.
As we wnt along during the day there were a few trigs and CORS we were able to visit.
Thanks.

Needed some petrol so we stopped nearby. Albida33 and I realised that we were right near the hospital so jumped out and ran across the road to take this snap while fitzy_1965 got the petrol

Can't say I've ever been here but today I drove straight past and spotted what must have been on top of an aerial.

The instructions say, "communication aerial', so I hope this is it. I was born in this hospital. Only second time (I think) since an adult I have been back to see it. I gave an extra hand for this . TFTC.

Big day of trig hunting in the Gong. This was a quick park and shoot. Wish I knew which piece is the trig!

Today I made the area of northern Wollongong unsafe with my geocaching activities. 23 finds, six GCA ones, two puzzles. A good time was had by all! Errr me.
Quick snap while trying to figure out how to park here without trying to kill myself.

Found Made a trip to the Gong and after getting some personal business out of the way we went on a Trig hunt. I had planned to cache, but the Trig blocked my vision for the way and I was focused on them instead. This TP was a but difficult to find with the sun in ones eyes. They sure have lots of poles etc sitting on their roof. A great afternoon had by all.

#GA651 - 14:20; Sol de lune and I had discussed a wild trig hunt in the Illawarra quite a while ago and today was the day we tried to bring home the bacon. We had collected a few on the way down the mountain and in to Kiama, before heading north for a DNF in Shellharbour then on to the main section of the Tour de Illawarra. This was one of the easier finds for the day, given the prominence of the building in question, although which bit is the trig could be open to interpretation! TFTC Geocaching Australia

Found with LuckyL10n on a day trip to The Gong....
Some interesting photo's for this one......my thoughts are that on the end of the building you can see a tripod that would have had vanes on it at some stage....but that's just my interpretation.....so who really knows.

We have been passing this Trig point for the last couple of days and been unable to stop to take a photo. We worked out what we thought was the best spot, but unfortunately the photo we got in the end isn't so clear. You can see the trig point, just a bit blurry... Let me know if this is not good enough and I will try again next time I'm in the Gong.

I was walking by waymarking - thanks Roger for all those Utility Boxes - so took a photo. Not quite the same as the beacon variety.
Had to do a quick shop in Wollongong before mothersday, so finally picked up this Trig

I was on a trig hunt anyway and walking past the Hospital, but the best place to take a decent photo is on the western side along the Princes Highway (Crown Street).
