I've been driving past this regularly for a long time and today I took the 5 minutes needed to get a photo. Quite an interesting one with the walls and sandstone buildings.

#GA505 - 13:50; Back in Sydney with the geohoney for the weekend, so after dropping her off for some retail therapy, it was off to grab a few caches. Made a lucky decision on the turn off, which meant I had parked close for my first find, but also headed the right way to continue on for this one as well. Didn't pick the best park to get a front on shot for this one, so headed around to the front on foot. An impressive building indeed. TFTC Geocaching Australia

Zal found a place to park to grab this trig and get the Zone. Now off to visit Hunters Hill. Big School!

It seemed a long drive from Gladesville trig to this site. This school is legendary for its rugby teams over the years but I'd never been here. Took a couple of goes before I could find a spot to get the shot. Buildings in good nick.
Last one heading home... hard to get a shot here but found an angle in the end. Yes the photo is a dodgy photoshop as the pic with me had a white background so I had to paste in the shot of the trig

Working today meant I missed out on the International Caching Day event, but I finished close to this one so a slight detour on the way back home from Gladesville. Visible easily from a distance, but nearby trees and buildings make life harder when close by. Anyway snapped this shot of it over a builing. Cheers.
Came past on the way to the city and managed to snap a photo before the sun set.

Since I was going to the City today, a small detour was in order to check out this Passive Trig Point.
I was lucky to get there while all the kids were in class otherwise it might have looked suspicious. Probably best done after school hours or on weekend.
You have to Love the lightning rod on the head of the statue!
