Description

NM C 160 TS7272

Official name of this Trig Station as per NSW Department of Lands is: NM C 160.

Serial number is: TS7272.

Last Inspected on: No Data.

Elevation is: 96 metres.

The Passive trig is the aerial on top of the building next to the satellite dish. Strangely the much taller twin tower nearby is not the Trig. perhaps these are a later addition to the complex and were not there when the Trig point was set up.

I was running nearby and decided to pass by while in the area. The gates were locked, so I needed to take the photo from the fence - hope I found the right tower?! TFTT

20-Jul-18
I took a photo from outside the fence of the tower and what I thought was the disc of the trig. It was too white and bright and that had be doubting myself. I decided, as there were no security guards at the gate, i would just drive in and gt a better shot. I was right, the white disc was not a trig, but I had the right tower.

After going to the Geocaching NSW AGM Event at Carlingford I headed out find a couple more caches and trigs (and waymarks).
Took a photo from near the tennis courts.

#GA757 - #14:37; Sol de lune and I had decided that double points month made a flying day trip to Sydney to grab some more trigs and perhaps a GeGnome or two a worthwhile adventure. An itinerary was hastily prepared and today was to be the day. We had completed our mission at Rookwood, after grabbing a couple of bonus caches in Bankstown on the way past. It was now off further north into uncharted waters for us to see what was available. Made our way to GZ to find gates locked with no chance of access. Did a drive around the area and found a viewing point in the new sub-division from Squadron Court. TFTC Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Day trip to Sydney with LuckyL10n to bust free a few GeGnomes and snare a few more Trigs...

A tricky one to spot on a Sunday, however after a drive around some of the back streets, we managed to spot the intended area and snap our photo. Thanks to Roger for the great photo that helped us identify the target. TFTT

Another nice trig for the Winter games Clan Phoenix

Gate open so parked outside and walked in. So sad this facility has been hit by the budget cuts too Sad Snapped my piccy and beat a retreat.

In my mind I'd always thought this trig was in UTS nearby but I followed the GPS today and came to a familiar spot. Gates closed on a Sunday so I walked back along the fence past some sort of experiment and got a shot of the tall bit which may or may not be the trig. Might get a better look on a weekday.

Found today after a last minute decision to hop a train and come down to beautiful Lindfield.
No problem getting access to the car park and see the top of the building, the aerial is easy to spot.

Decided to take a look at this Trig. Drive up to the gates and was able to drive in as there are no security guards at the gatehouse. I think it is open to to drive in as there are reception arrow signs inside. Drove up and parked about 62m from where the GPSr was showing. While I couldn't see an actual Trig, I could see a dish and aerials on top. I take it this is the spot. If someone else can confirm ya or nay, and if need be I'll change my find to a note.

Side note, also saw another taller tower with aerials and the like on top, so took a picture of that as well.
