I left work early after a celebration lunch and decided to find some caches on the way home. I first found a nearby GC multi and then decided to find some GCAs. I headed up from Milson's Point and was soon at the corner from where I was able to get a clearish twilight shot. TFTT

Driven past this location several times before.
Finally had a few minutes spare one night while travelling past and stopped to check out this trig point.
Thanks for marking this on here.

I had heard about the souvenir for 18th May only tomorrow via Richary on Facebook and I've been meaning to look for GA caches in the North Sydney area where I am now working. So I told myself I need to remember to do a quick search and see what is there. This afternoon on the 18th at about 5pm I recalled that I wanted to do this. So a quick search and what do you know but this trig was right nearby only about 150m or so away from the building I am in. So I headed over and whilst there still was enough light did my snapshot and so my claim is around 5:15pm. The Post Office has a nice external façade still too.

15-May-16
I've walked past this post office for about six years and never bothered taking a picture of it. After I left North Sydney, that was the moment I got alerted on it being more than a letter moving building.... Now I'm back!

#GA771 - 16:20; Sol de lune and I had decided that double points month made a flying day trip to Sydney to grab some more trigs and perhaps a GeGnome or two a worthwhile adventure. An itinerary was hastily prepared and today was to be the day. We had completed a good part of the prepared itinerary, but it had been a bit ambitious, so we decided to abandon it and collect as many caches in the Willoughby and North Sydney areas before heading back across the bridge for a few more southside on the way home. After picking up a couple of the nearby trigs, along with a small band of GeGnomes we were now headed towards home. Sdl saw that this one was close to our intended route and we grabbed a convenient parking spot just up the road. I managed to grab a happy snap of this beautifuil old building from the rather skinny traffic island in the middle of the road before we were on our way again. Grabbed with LuckyL10n during our day run to Sydney chasing a few pesky GeGnomes along with a few Trigs...

On our way home, but still time to grab a few along our intended route....and maybe no so intended (you know how it goes...). Stopped up the road a bit and made the photo nice and easy. TFTT...

Could not find the associated survey marker. The wiki says "A trig point will always be assosiated(sic) with a survey mark".
But this one's located at the top of a building, is there definitely one? The top of the upward pointy thing is most definitely situated above the interior; does that mean the survey marker would be located inside the building?

25-Jul-12
After a trip to the top of the Genworth building over the road, grabbed this on the walk back to the car. A fuzzy pic of phone and tower as it tried to focus on both, and a good picture of the tower from Mount Street.

13-Jun-12
Out and about on a short Trig hunt today. This old building is now dwarfed by all the high rise around it, no doubt in its day this was visible from a long way off.
