#GA2611 - 13:00; Day one of the 2018 Oz Geomuster mission with Sol de lune. Today was planned to be an easy day travelling to the Mega site in Morisset via a few dragonZones in the Sydney metropolitan region before getting amongst the Easter traffic heading north along the freeway. After our first stop in Balgowlah, the GPSr had us headed out along a different route than we had originally planned. After collecting a few extras along the Wakehurst Parkway, we saw this one wasn't too far off our intended route, so we took the detour in to grab a snap or two before heading on our way again. The road works saw us have to back track out the way we had come in, rather than via the shorter route we had our eye on, but we had the prize, which was why we were here. Day one of an Easter trip with LuckyL10n to the 2018 Morisset Mega. Headed up via the northern beach suburbs of Sydney to grab a few trigs and dragonZones along the way.

No problems with this one and the trig was soon spotted.

Another trig and another dragonZone crossed off. Thanks for the fun....

Easy find.

I was prevented from getting to this one a few weeks back when the old footbridge was being removed. Today, it was an easy access.

Beautiful views over the city if it wasn't for this watertank blocking my view!

Nice easy find today, though after coming out of the road past Forestway shops it takes timing to get into the left hand lane in time to turn into this one. Grabbed the required snap, so that's 3 GCA trigs on the first day of the year.

Slowly working my way outward from new home on Beacon Hill. This is the closest uncapped Trig and fell under my radar after a nice afternoon out caching. Now to find this nearby GCA multi!?!

It has taken me a long time to get here, but today was it for the triple Belrose, Oxford Falls and Frenchs Forest Trigs.
A long day walking around the suburbs but quite satisfying.
The end of the walk and about time, I am spent, just enough energy left to snap the Trig and walk to the bus stop!

Stumbled on this trig whilst pursuing a nearby GCA multi.

Came past while getting a few caches in the area. Drove straight past and then realised it was on top. Managed to get a good photo. GOTCHA Laughing

I'd been across the road, doing an exercise for an executioner and came across a SSM in the gutter. After documenting that, I turned around to find this trig looming large across the road. It's really quite close. A work crew were busy maintaining the tank.

This one was a bit of a surprise when it was published. I am sure I looked at every reservoir in this area on Google Earth for signs of a trig but I don't recall this one at all.
It was easy enough to pull up across the street and snap some shots of this seemingly well maintained trig - looks freshly painted.
Simple drive by.
