Heading to Sydney today for a doctors appointment so started early to grab a few trigs. Managed 10 for the day. Number 3. Really starting to love finding a variety of trigs. A building this time. Parked at the gate so as not to trespass.

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1298 - 14327 overall cache finds.

Found while heading home to Canberra today during a work trip up in the Penrith region. While I mainly looked for GC caches, when an easy GCA cache comes along we go for that as well. Trigs are particularly nice to track down and find. I was very happy when they became part of the GCA cache family. Its especially satisfying if you have made a big climb up for one ! I have also now joined dragonZone in Clan Cerberus, so there are more reasons to find those GCA caches. Its interesting to find the many different types of trigs. From the traditional metal legs and vanes, to the concrete base with vanes, to the ones on top of water tanks (especially the red ones !), as well the new CORS type. When you look on a GCA map and see all those hundreds and hundreds of blue 'Z's it shows just how many there are out there. Shame so many are on private property and cannot be accessed at all. So as far as I'm concerned every trig that can be found and photographed is a real bonus !

The trig was quickly 'found'. Piccie taken and posted. Trig on a old Building !!

Thanks Geocaching Australia !

#GA1259 - 18:55; After collecting a few caches around Moss Vale, Bowral and Berrima, Sol de lune and I headed across the highway into Wollondilly for some trig hunting. Sadly, Warragamba Dam had closed for the day, so we set off further north. Made our way over to the golf club and spotted the mast which acts as a trig as we drove into the carpark. Stopped and grabbed a snap before heading off for our last find of the day. TFTT Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Collected a few trigs while on a work trip to Sydney. This was one and a very interesting building to go with it.

Easy parking at the golf course and this trig is hard to miss. An unusual one.

Been a while since this one was logged. Parked in the car park as if I was going to play golf......no-one even looked my way.

15-Jun-13
I parked at the golf course and had a short walk to take a photo of the passive trig.

The apex of the roof. Strange but anyway, it is the golfcourse so why not!
