Official name of this Trig Station as per NSW Department of Lands is: Gilead.
Serial number is: TS10097.
Last Inspected on: No Data.
Elevation is: 185 metres.
The concrete tower is the passive Trig Point.

Easily visible from the Hume Highway. Heading south, just after Menangle Road.

No access to the area...can't see anything from 1.50klms away....on private property.....archived.
Tried to access the area of the trig today....with no luck at all. It certainly seems to be on private property and GammaPiSigma's log from 2012 seems to confirm all that. This one should be probably be archived....
Seems that, from the 2012 log, this may not be the tower. The is no access through the school, and there are plenty of fences on the properties above.
Using some local knowledge, Google Earth and cross referencing the position to the Appin topo I am very sure this is the Mount Gilead Windmill. Further information here:
