On a caching run out into the eastern suburbs to get some trigs haven't got to before this was one of the ones we spotted. Photo taken this is taken as part of the 2018 to 2019 Summer Games.

The latest Geocaching Australia game runs from 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST

For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.

Awesome views from up here. My first arrow trig too!

Geodad was sure he had been here before. He had even parked in the same spot and gone down the wrong road too last time...yet he never logged the trig. Sorted that out today.

Trigs usually aren't too tough to find but this one had me stumped for a moment. How fabulous to find such an old marker.

This is the first trig like this I've seen so it took a bit longer than normal to locate. The view is fairly good too.

Not found for 10 months and then 2 visits in 2 days.....there you go.

Great views from the lookout and the plug was spotted after a couple of minutes. Well worth the visit.

After heading down this way to grab some other caches, I made the drive to the headland lookout and the short stroll along to this. I had considered attacking it from the track below but looking at the steepness over the edge was quite glad I hadn't taken that option! Took a little while to spot after referring to previous photos I had it soon enough!

I've been to this lookout before but didn't know the trig was here. The view here is beautiful. Also found Castlecrag and Northbridge today.

An old girl with a great view! 120 year old trig carving has unfortunately been recently added to by local delinquents Sad

After finding i!1Nest I went for a saunter along the foreshore walk and then back up to the entrance to Harold Reid Park. A short stroll later I was at this lookout with a great view and the trig spot next to it. All good.

I was only there 3 days ago, I did not realise that this old time Trig was here and so I just had to come back to check it out, and sure enough there it is.
The original Trig was a drill hole in the rock with a carved convict arrow pointing to it. In 1979 a stainless steel locating pin was placed in the drill hole and a number plaque was also placed, this is now gone missing.
Quite a thrill to find something that old.
