Description
Official name of this Trig Station as per NSW Department of Lands is: Tuross Head CORS.
This Next Generation CORS Trig is accessable... but not by Car! :D
It is situated on a private road, but while your car is not allowed, your feet are welcome. Park at the bottom of the hill and enjoy the 5-10 minute walk up. You will be rewarded by great views and eventually the Trig standing in a Donkey paddock! You can get to within camera shot at the paddock fence line.

Receiver Type: LEICA GRX1200+GNSS

Not too many opportunities for GCA caches where we went this weekend, but still managed a nice selection of Trigs and Virtuals. This was the first CORS found - and an impressive one to boot !!

I have edited the cache page with some additional details. While the cache is accessible on foot, the road is private and closed to non-resident vehicles. So please park at the base of the hill and enjoy the short steep walk up. Lots of great views and farm animals along the way
