passing through on our way to Emmaville and stopped for a look about. lovely spot

17-Apr-23
We came to the standing stones for lunch, but this trig and cors point led us to a much nicer and shadier spot to eat. There's even plenty of parking for the trailer.

We sat and enjoyed our pies while listening to the birds.

Thanks for the trig point listing.

Finding a trig here = opening my GA Cacher app.
Owning the app = seeing there's a Cors here.
Setting the cors = snapping another photo with Cappie.

On our way to Tenterfield for a couple days of golf and visiting Glen for some old reminisces, I have been to this spot so many times and even would have photos of it somewhere but today we went back and enjoyed the visit. Tf5c

We were rolling into town from Lismore to Armidale today. So happy that Glen Innes has 3 GCA Trigs for me to log. Now that's helpful in the Journey and Destination game. I've been up to this area a few times before - but never this far up. Found the CORS attached to the building and took the required pic.

#GA2987 - 08:05; Day two of a trip to the Gold Coast and after a quiet night in Glen Innes, I headed off to grab a couple of the local trigs. Well, that turned into more of an adventure than it should have been. The GPSr took me down a goat track where I decided that discretion was the better part of valour and left the geomobile on the track before scaling the last couple of hundred metres up the steep 4WD playground track. Reached the top, only to find a paved road which I could have taken had the GPSr been a little friendlier. Anyway, grabbed a snap of the trig and then headed around the corner for this CORS. visited this area and nice day for wander

21-Feb-17
After scratching my head trying to find dark blotches on standing stones & to wonder why, I wandered up here to photograph the CORS. As I recall there is another "proper" trig just around the corner says he who has added upteem CORS to the site.

09-Apr-15
We stopped in Glen Innes for a few nights on the way home from the Qld Mega at Stanthorpe. This one was a very quick find when in the area.

06-Apr-15
Heading south from the mega event on our way back to Sydney, while we didn't have to make it in one day and in fact only got as far as Gloucester before a big storm rolled in it was never going to be a big geocaching run, just a chance to add some more dots to the map rather than trying to hit every cache along the way.

3 caches for the price of 1 up the hill today, we had never driven to the top before for the nice view. An easy spot of the CORS antenna.

31-Mar-15
A second cache in the area...that's a bonus.

Photo grabbed without any problems.

01-Jan-15
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 10:30am. We were here yesterday looking at the Standing Stones and forgot about this cache. TFTC

27-Oct-13
we came up to see the granite-work celtic "stonehenge" and scored 3 bonus trigs as well, since there was also a NSWSSM at the centre of the stone circle.
Now - just have to ensure I add the right pic to the right log!

23-Aug-13
North Qld 2013. On my rushed drive south there was just time for a few virtuals. Thanks

03-Jul-13
Two trigs so close together. What a bonus. Thanks.

18-Jun-13
Drove up here to get the nearby Trig and this one. Parked just down the road and walked around to the Trig. Took my photo of the CORS and left. TFTC

15-Jan-13
We arrived to find the Martins Lookout Trig and realised there were 2 GCA caches here. Easily located the CORS and at 7.00pm there was nobody else about.

30-Dec-12
This one popped up on the phone when I was looking for the nearby trig. Not sure what this was so I had to look it up. I soon knew what I was looking for and soon spotted the Cors Unit.
Just as I was leaving a police wagon popped around the bend doing a check. He wasn't to worried about me though.
