TG47 kindly agreed to take the van off so that we could drive back into town more easily this morning. Aim? Grab photos of the two trigs here so that we had two more shots in the current Geocaching Australia's game of Battleships. TFTT Geocaching Australia.

We are on a trip from Melbourne to Brisbane to visit our son.
While the rest of the family went to pick up some take-away food for dinner I took a quick photo of the CORS in the fading light.

Driving from Bathurst to Parkes and Gundagai, we stopped for as many trigs as possible, we always enjoy the hunt for a CORS.....

The light was fading quickly as we arrived in Forbes. There was just sufficient light to photograph the Forbes CORS antenna on the back of the shire offices. The required photo has been added to the Gallery. Thanks for the cache.
Didn't see this when we drove through as the sculptures in the park grabbed our attention so detoured back to grab a pic. Much later noticed the GPS had drifted out of it.... a CORs too Forbes to go back to.

Found this afternoon during a walk around downtown Forbes. Plenty of interesting things to see close by too, so a great place to linger and wander.

Found it..We are currently on our way to Alexandra event in Victoria and stopped here to locate the cache.TFTC
On our way south on our way to Alexandra via Moree, Dubbo, Shepparton, Bendigo, Canberra and then finally Alexandra. Doing as many as we can as I have to drive for three hours from Nannango to find GA hides away from home. As I am literally just cruising past GA hides on the way south taking the opportunity to be choosy for a change. Next one for the trip. TFTC GCA

#GA1662 - 10:30; ay 31 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, our last! Today was the run home from Parkes to Canberra. Sdl and I were headed home from Parkes via Forbes, Grenfell, Young, Boorowa and Yass, while a33 and f65 planned a more direct route via Cowra. This was the last stop on a quick visit to Forbes. Interesting art work in the park across the road too! TFTT Geocaching Australia

Wasn't sure where to find this but eventually worked it out. The building opposite the sculpture park and the Forbes Advocate.
Oh that is a great statue in that park! Oh yeah and a CORS somewhere.

Found today on a geocaching trip to here, Forbes. Got here in the afternoon. Grabbed a GPS shot and a "Cheeky" shot for you (you'll get it if you get here and look around, or guess what the object is in the "bottom" left corner of the photo). 
Staying at Forbes for a couple of days gave us the opportunity to grab some caches and this was one of them. Quick snap then off to the next one.

Leaving Forbes today to head towards Bathurst, took the scenic country route so we could stop and see the AMAZING fossil museum, the kids really loved this!
