Thyanks for the trig.
Thanks for the trig.
We stopped in the side road for a quick find. I like these CORS !
A weekend run up through the Oberon, Bathurst and Orange regions to tackle a number of puzzle series, lots of trads, plus a number of trigs as well. Although there were a number of DNFs, in all the caches were nicely placed with good coords. Glorious weather certainly added to a very fun weekend. An early departure with a few quick stops along the way saw us soon at Oberon to start the campaign in ernest. This one was very conveniently in a side street near a nice cafe where i scored a coffee to keep me going for a while longer. Once at the CORS of course it was a quick stop for the required photos, admired the CORS, then it was off to the Dam to the next one / couple. Photo of the CORS attached.
Another nice CORS to add to the collection. Really enjoy finding these trigs in all sorts of odd places, especially the new CORS type which seem to be popping up in every country town plus the big cities.

Can't say this was a difficult one, but if you don't know what you're looking for, then the CORS trigs are misleading.
A quick walk up an Oberon alley-way solved the mystery!
A bit tricky to locate this one as it is not visible from the main street.
Find the Council building then walk down the side alley on the right and half way down the Trig is behind you at the top of the building.
