20-Sep-20
Out touring on the motorbike for a few days solo, although it is far more challenging trying to navigate to trigs on the motorbike I couldn't resist grabbing a couple on the way past. nice and easy park and grab here

19-Jan-20
Visited today whilst on the way to TCMF2020. This is my first ever day solely trig hunting (ie no picking up trigs whilst geocaching). Haven't seen a CORS like this one before. I think it must be a newish unit. TFTC!

Booked into my hotel and with an hour left of daylight, I decided to hit all the local caches until I could see no more. This was the first.

Driving through the hunter region on a hot day flown over by firefighting helicopters. Stopped at Singleton for a bit of respite and took the photo of the CORS near where I parked my car. There is a reflection of me taking the photo

27-Dec-18
Found this CORS today on a very hot trip on our way to Tamworth. An easy walk around the buildings (that's the type of trig it was) but I stubbed my little toe and had a major bleed all over my thongs. I have walked major hills without injury and get taken out by this one.... TFTT

#GA2982 - 14:35; Heading north for a week's holiday with the geohoney and geograndson and passing through some new territory, so a few cache stops are in order. This is the first trig stop after grabbing a bite at the Golden Arches. Overshot the turn off, so had to head back again to get to the target. Parked close and with the melodious sound of a drone racing in the background, grabbed a coulle of snaps before hitting the road again enroute to Glen Innes for the night. Day three of our trip south to the Mega and left Armidale bright and early. Parked closed in the Library car park and walked along the bank behind the buildings and soon saw the CORS marker on the roof of the next building.

Now in Singleton and headed off to find the local CORs. Didn't take long and soon arrived at GZ and had the required photo in the bag before heading back to the highway and off to Tamworth.

We had taken the scenic route to Singleton today from Newcastle, via Allynbrook..... Always nice to find a trig amongst the caches. These CORS units are tricky to spot sometimes......

Out with Team Merlin to find this trig.

04-Jun-17
On our way north with JJCC and the family. Stopped off to grab a few trigs around Putty before heading into Singleton to pick up the one trig in town. Parked in the civic centre and walked around the building and then spotted the small CORS unit.

A long time since there's been a log on this one!! Had to do a lap of the building before spotting it and it may be hard to see in our photo but it is high on the roof about 1/3 of the way along from the right hand side of the sail.
Thanks.

It was kind of dark when I drove through Singleton tonight so this was my mother measly effort.

Found on the NSW leg of our Round Aust trip
After staying in Cresent Head for a few days we headed down the coast and then inland at Newcastle, stopping for an overnighter in Singleton. Next day we headed Westish towards Dubbo, on the way we found some caches and some waymarks.

Weee! Another CORS FTF.... at least Im pretty sure. This one was not the familiar "Space Ship" dome. But at the co-ords and in line with the satellite image was a unit I believe is the CORS. However, when you see the photo, I believe it is the smaller grey mast, not the big white one. However, the bit white one is certainly easier to see Wink

For those looking for these new CORS trigs, check out some of the galleries on found ones to see what they look like. They are not antenna Wink
