We located the Tamworth CORS this morning and the required photo is included with thus log.Thanks for the cache.

A quick photo while passing on the way back to the caravan after visiting the nearby markets.

A caching tour around town.

We are walking around the Country Music Festival and grabbed a few virtual on the way.

This building is obviously from the "Judge Dredd" era of government construction and architecture.

Visiting from Maitland, had to stop for this one. TFTC

After spending the night in Tamworth, it was time to collect a few more caches in the area before setting off for Gunnnedah. Stopping over in Tamworth enroute to the CacheQld mega over Easter and took the required photo (which I'll upload when I get home) while doing the nearby virtuals.

The closer you are, the harder it is to see.

Walking the streets of Tamworth this morning before more gigs later on, also putting together some WPs for my Adventure Lab. Found the CORS, although not what I would say "An easy spot" as it is pretty busy up there and quite a tall building too. I noticed in the gallery someone made a lot of effort and even got a pic from an above ground vantage point. Good effort there! TFTC.

We are on our way home from Alexandra and spent last night in Parkes. Today we are caching our way to Armidale where we will spend the night. Traffic not heavy and the weather is great. Well this one took a lot of leg exercise trying to find a parking spot then trying to find a way into the yards of the buildings in hope that I could spot the CORS. I think I have it. TFTT

I came here yesterday in the almost dark, walked around the building but couldn't spot the CORS. I returned this morning, and I hope that is the CORS I photographed. TFTC.

Visiting one of the towns (city now) I used to live in. Reverse parked the UAV between 2 4WDs & had a conversation with the owner of one - she & I both pleased with our ability to park in such a manner, without reversing cameras. Walked across the road thinking to myself - must be up there somewhere!

last stop during lunch break whilst on visit to Tamworth.

Found during an early morning stroll while staying in Tamworth for a work conference. The morning was surprisingly warm and the sun was trying to both break over the range and burst through the clouds while seeing the distinctive CORS profile. Tamworth is a town that I intend to visit again especially after walking along the track beside the Peel River.

On my way home from a CITO Event at Stanthorpe in the morning I came into Tamworth to find this CORS, which I had tried to find another weekend, but had the wrong coordinates then. This time found the right area and device.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.

We saw this CORS on the way north after working out where it was supposed to be. Thanks.

Found with Albida while heading to the Stanthorpe Mega...

Went to the (previously) posted co-ords only find a footy field. Something wrong with that, so a bit of a search and the correct co-ords were found via the CORS website. Co-ords have been updated, and the correct ones are on a building in the Tamworth CBD....

The CORS itself it had to see, but it there on top of the building.

Well I found something but I don't know what it was supposed to be. There does not seem to be a recognised Trig Station, just a white post.

No building anywhere near this. Co-ords take you to the middle of a grassed area!!

Got it! And FTF. Luckily the camera can see better than us. Zoomed in on this while on a caching venture around Tamworth.
