Logs
Quick detour through Wyong after some dinosaur hunting and the kids couldn't resist a hill with three trigs. It was raining when we arrived so the daughter decided to stay in the car. The tower was spotted and we set of on a scramble up a steep and muddy hill.
Back at the car the rain had eased off and we spotted the nice set of wooden stairs leading to the top. That would have been easier!

The mossies are really fierce up here this evening. TFTT Geocaching Australia.

We were down here for some Wizard of Oz antics, and a triple trig hill couldn't not be visited!
A grafiti 'artist' signed his name on this one, he must be popular with the local fellas!

Another trig that was found while we were out hiding and hunting GCA caches. We used to have a cache in the area but it was muggled a couple of times and the area became rather unsavoury so we archived it.
After all the rain that we have had around Sydney over the last few days it has been good to have a bit of nice weather today. Decided on a drive up the Central Coast & Lake Macquarie after some of the trigs along the way where there are a few clumps around. In the end I got to 25 trigs after that there was a long drive and I ended up getting home at about 8pm.
The eleventh one I looked for was Wyong "it got tagged not once but twice" my last around the Wyong area now to head up to Lake Macquarie
Thanks for the trig took the required photo

One of the many trigs we found whilst exploring this area. Good climb to the top. Nice to see a complete trig.

Hot day for trigging, but this was a 3 for 1 offer. Bargain!

Stopped here on the way to the Ozgeomuster event in Morriset to find the three trigs. It was late and it was dark but we managed!

Having been the FTF for Tangy Dangy trig, it surprised me that I still hadn't gone to find another Trig Point so close to the Freeway that I frequently drive down. So on the start of a small road trip out Tarana to get some other Trig Points (and Waymarks) I swung in and grab this one, and the neighbouring ones.
1542, Wednesday, 7 February, 2018 - but logging late - 9/7/18
So, in the meantime it is now a Waymark as well: http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WMYM4X_Wyong_Trig_GS_Wyong_NSW

On the way to Queensland for a couple of weeks to visit relos and once in the car park here my wife was quite happy to site in the car while I headed up the short sharp climb to grab these trigs. Took my time and watched the footings but I was soon at top. Some neat views from up there....and I soon had a couple of photo's, as well as the required photo's of the trigs.
Once all three were in the bag, it was back to the car and off our on travels again.

Grabbed on a break from my conference in Wyong. Great to be able to bag three trigs in the one spot. A pity that someone has drawn all over the trig TFTT

A quick visit to Wyong to drop off some family members at the railway. Grabbed a few of the local trigs before heading back to basecamp. Nice find once the summit had been reached.
Came by to find the geocaching.com puzzle cache, lovely rocky area. Saw the trig point so got a photo as I figured there'd be something on this site. Didn't expect there would be 3 separate 'trig points' here though! I saw the tower (obviously) but won't log the old drill hole as I never saw it. Cheers all!

Actually found on the 02/08/2015 but forgot to log it. Was up doing a nearby puzzle cache. Lovely spot
After the Cors at Wyong council chambers. I headed out to here to do this Trig. No real trouble locating it found at 4:45pm. I decided to park down below the gate unsure of when it gets locked. But need not have worried. Shame you can't see the great views from here. The climb up the hill was a bit tiring. But I needed the exercise.

I keep telling myself never again will I let Spikeymikey in front of me on an an uphill ascent, but oh no, somehow he always manages to get in front, and boys and girls, let me tell you it's not a pretty sight! Nor sound for that matter, I have no idea where most of the noises come from, but in saying that, as we got to the top we were having a reasonably vocal chat regarding Malcolm Naden and how with out caching we didn't come across him and bugger me we turn around a rock and here is this fella camped under a boulder, and he wasn't too pleased to see us. Then a few metres past that we found the contents of what appeared to be a ladies purse, which didn't really make us feel any more or less comfortable because our main two priorities at this stage were getting the deposit we just made in our undies when we found the guy out and disposed of, and how we were going to get back down and which of us was going to push the other one in front first to die at his hands......where was I, damn now I don't know anything else about the cache, other than it was uncomfortable (and somewhat smelly by this stage)but we did take photo's. We weren't totally rude on our way down, we did say gidday to him as we scooted as quickly as we could carrying all the rocks and tree branches we could to use as weapons.
Caching with TheHeadChef.
We came to here from the nearby GC cache Angry Bird.
This was a bit of a climb!! All I could here was THC doing his impersonations of crow calls, as made famous by Graham Kennedy.
And the steeper the climb the more numerous the crow calls.
Just as we reached the top, we saw a vehicle parked just below on Crystal Crescent. That's the way we should have come.
But we did meet some bloke hiding away up here in a cave. Odd place to live!!

An easy find as this one is quite close to the Telecom Tower, just follow Crystal Crescent to the Wyong Hill Reserve and you are there. Several tracks will take you up to the trig with no problem.
Unfortunately this one has lost the mast and vanes but the name plaque is still in place.
