Logs
Easy to spot from quite a few vantage points now that the forest has been felled. I ventured up. I could not resist.

As you can see on goggle mapping there are many forestry tracks – well I took a well overgrown track from the main road (Mayfield Road) so you may need to pick your own track in. Middle creek may be a problem after a good rain fall. Otherwise a good trip here – not recommending a standard car for this trip. Otherwise a very enjoyable trip into this state forest. Basically, I took photos from the track standing on my rear bumper of my car to give me that little extra height at 2 locations. I am very thrilled to unarchive this trig – for me this trig made my day in caching the greater Oberon area. Many thanks to pjmpjm & rogerw3 for doing the hard work & getting close & personal to the trig as the photos & their logs made me wonder if it was posable to get close enough to trig & take the shots. The photos tell the story – highly recommending this trig – many thanks again

this made my day - able to un-archive this trig - log & photos to come - state forest tracks got me to boundary fence & able to take good decent photos of trig - must say many thanks to pjmpjm & rogerw3 for doing the hard work.
Sadly this one has to be archived, it is on private property in a paddock well used by cattle.
One of 22 finds today, as rogerw3 and I travelled throughout the Oberon area, chasing both trigs and ordinary GC caches.
We worked pretty hard for this particular log. Who says that trigs are easy?
Guess this one would be our 'pick of the day' for all geocaches.
Thanks to rogerw3 for finding it and publishing it!

Second Trig find with pjmpjm during our Oberon caching day.
As usual we made this one very much harder than it needed to be by taking the wrong turn, mind you the correct turn off was almost invisible. That meant a bush bash up the hill and scrambling over felled trees to find the right track, then onto the trig. Complete except for the name plaque that has gone missing.
Sadly this is on private property and invisible from the track.
