Out on a trig run around Blacktown, dropped by to see if we could find this one. Using the yellow dot as a guild, we tapped around with the car keys in the sand until we hit metal to make the find.

Even hough geodad had found this one AND there was a yellow dot in the gutter, we could not see through all the grass to find it. Seeing dad's photo (which we didn't look at while we were there, it is VERY close to the dot!!!! It was too hot to continue.
Grass and dirt had spread across the metal plate, concealing it, so I was pleased there was a yellow dot on the curb to assist me to locate it. After scrapping about, metal was revealed. TFTC.

#GA1317 - 15:05; Day 3 of a caching mission in and around Sydney with Sol de lune. After collecting the testline in the area, we headed to Blacktown Central for me to collect this trig. Found the right street and soon had the trig in focus. Managed to get the lid off for this shot. TFTC Geocaching Australia

my first tine finding a this type of trig. Tried to ckean ut out but didn't hane the right gear as ut was full of years of dirt. was difficult to find because it was covered in 2 inches if grass.
Was wondering where I might end up for this one, but then spied the little bugger hiding in the grass/lawn. No problems with a photo, but I couldn't get it open to see inside.

I like the challenge of unearthing these...or un-grassing them.

I was working in the area at our warehouse at Arndell Park today, so once we finished figured I might as well get some caches rather than go back to the office in town where I would only have been for an hour or so before it was time to head home. So why not go caching as I can work just as well from home for most of what I need to do? And after finding 3 GC caches I thought I would log a couple of local TPs for the current Dragonzone game.
Parked nearby and found the plate after a bit of looking, the bugger wouldn't open so the photo is only my foot next to it. Photo to be uploaded tomorrow as this PC won't talk to the iPhone for some reason. Bloody tech Last find before I headed home to a stuffed up Pennant Hills Road.

Found this one back on the 25/4/14, only just logging it now. As other have said, needed to shift a bit of grass to find it.
Not much else to see other than houses

I had to ring and check I had entered the right co-ordinates as this was buried under freshly cut grass. I spotted it eventually!?!
I found some details for this new Trig by chance and thought it was worth investigating. Sure enough it is still there with the number plaque in place.
