Driving from Dubbo to Bourke via Cobar, chasing GC LGAs, we were sure to grab the trigs we could on the way. A nice easy to spot CORS here.

What better thing to do after parking in the Big Bogan carpark and a pie at the Bogan Cafe than to find a CORS on the Bogan Shire Building. It's all about 'bogan' in Nyngan...

It has taken us some time to work through all the photos we took whilst on our major excursion to get to Brisbane (for a family wedding) via Griffith, Cobar, Bourke and Stanthorpe. It was a great trip, one which we will remember for a long time because of the very different landscape types that we went through, the unique characters of each of the towns visited, the wildlife (we hadn't seen very large flocks of emu roaming before)and the different community activities and tourist features.

Along the way we visited Nyngan and found two GCA trig points and we did record photos of each. The photo attached to this log is of Mrs y'stassie standing in front of the Bogan Shire Council building with the CORS antenna attached to the upper brick work and protruding above the roof line. As well as general surveying work, we wondered how many farmers were reliant on this CORS when using GPS based devices on their tractors for precision sowing of crops. Thanks Geocaching Australia for the cache.

Found this trig on our way home from the Red Centre Experience. Clan Minotaur

#GA1614 - 08:20; Day 30 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965. Today was a shorter run from Nyngan to Nevertire, Warren, Narromine and on to Dubbo before heading to Parkes for the night. This one was easily spotted on the approach to GZ and our snaps were quickly taken before we hit the road for the next town. TFTT Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1476. Found during Day 20 of my epic 21 day visit to Alice Springs for the Red Centre Experience Event and further travels after that.

Flew into Alice Springs and met up with my fellow intrepid team members Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n for the start of an amazing trip throughout the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and eventually back to Canberra. The Red Centre Experience is the main attraction of course, but also on our agenda are a lot of GC Caches, lots of trigs, as well as plenty of GCA Trads, History and Virtual Caches (and maybe the odd beer or two ??!! Smile. Go Clan Cerberus !

Another trig for the trip. We were now heading south and east again, and we managed to get to this trig. Photo taken. Then it was back in the car and off to the next one !

Another trig added to the dragonZone list. I really enjoy finding trigs and also the new CORS that are popping up everywhere !

TFTC !!

First for the day as we leave our free camp spot only a couple of blocks from GZ. The Bogan Shire council sure caters well for grey nomads with 2 free camp areas right in town. This trig is on the top of their council offices. Thanks.

Found whilst on a trip out western NSW.

Working in town today on a long distance visit from Sydney. Spotted the place easy enough with all it's antennas, I have no idea which is the CORS one though. Same down the road at Warren.
