We're driving up to Lightning Ridge today, making a 4hr drive into 8hr of course with 18 caches - 13 GCA and 5 GC.... We had great caching conditions today, temps to 22 degrees even, and dry (for once!).
Another CORS! An easy one too.

Last stop today before heading to Dawson Springs for the night. Was more of a pause really. I was hoping to get up Mt Kaputar for sunset but instead had to put up with just seeing the sunset colours painting the rock faces as I drove up the mountain. Of course this was a magnificent sight. The sky turned blood red even. I didn't stop to take any photos though. I was on a mission to set up camp. I ended up opting to set up my bedding in the 4wd instead of setting up the swag though.
#GA5135 - 07:25; Day two of a road trip with Sol de lune as we head north for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega. After spending the night in Narrabri we stopped so I could grab a snap of this CORS before setting off for Yarrie Lake for a short tour, then heading north for Moree, across the border at Goondawindi and on to Toowoomba for a couple of days. We are camped out at Yarrie Lake but drove in here to Narrabri for fuel, shopping, eating and oh yes the caching. This is one of the caches we were able to find, photograph and now log. Thanks for publishing these trigs for us to find Geocaching Australia.

Stopped to locate this CORS. We are on our way to Alexandra event in Victoria. TFTC
Day 3 of our journey to Alexandra. Left Nanango Qld on Monday and stayed overnight in Moree. Left Moree early on Tuesday and now it is Wednesday and we are staying in Dubbo till Friday. Collecting GCA hides on the way south as this is the perfect time for me to increase my finds for GCA and my Dragon Zone points. Saw this one from the highway and easy to take the required picture. First for the day and an easy find on the Narrabri Shire Council building.
Think Narrabri needs a cacher! A reasonable sized town and only 3 GCA trigs or CORS and 2 regular caches.
Thanks.

Arrived in Narrabri and will spend a couple of nights while we have the geomobile serviced.
Headed straight out to grab the local caches while we still had wheels available
Many thanks for the cache Geocaching Australia

We'd driven past by the time MrsG could spit out 'Narrabri Cors'. But no cors for alarm, a u-turn and we were soon happy snapping this fairly ordinary looking little icon. Ordinary looking or not, we were happy to find it. Not so lucky with two other GCA caches we looked for in Narrabri.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
After the Mega we took a different track and found a few more CORS. Thanks.
