Today I am travelling between Griffith and Yass doing a couple of GCA caches plus some faved GC caches. This trig is one on the list I can pull up at with a caravan on tow.
Snapped the necessary pic with the captain.

A slight detour off the main road to find this CORS. A quick photo then off again. TFTT

A lot cooler than the night we stayed at the free camp three years ago where everyone was looking for shade. Still don't know the correct way to pronounce the name of the town ... Ard-let-han... Ard-leth-an..... Ardle-than... Quite sure a local could have set us straight if we could have found one... No problems finding the CORS though.

After a big few days at work, I decided today on my day off that I would try to collect as many caches I could for the ‘Hidden Creatures Souvenir’ currently happening. This is because this is the last day to find caches towards it. I decided on the trail that goes: Temora – Wagga – Coolamon – Ganmain – Grong Grong – Ardlethan – Temora. I had planned a longer trail but I didn’t get away when I wanted to and because of the amount of sunlight left in the day. Sorry, but on some caches I became lazy and only wrote my cacher’s name and not the date. Thank you all cache owners for the caches I found, the fun I had and for the opportunity to discover these locations.
Last find of the day. A nice easy Trig Point to find. TFTT

With a planned visit to Wagga Wagga decided to take the longer route down south in order to pick up some caches in different GA dragonzone / GC LGAs that we previously did not have. Travelling down south and called in to grab this CORS trig.

Last night my husband and I visited the nearby GC cache and after reading some previous logs I discovered that there was a TP here. Apparently my GPS does not display TPs even though they are loaded.
This morning I got up early and while the rest of the family were eating their breakfast I walked here from the old railway station. It was a lovely Easter Sunday morning and I enjoyed exploring the town before arriving here and taking the required photo as evidence of my visit.
Thank you for giving me reason to discover more of Ardlethan.

On our way south on our way to Alexandra via Moree, Dubbo, Shepparton, Bendigo, Canberra and then finally Alexandra. Doing as many as we can as I have to drive for three hours from Nannango to find GA hides away from home. As I am literally just cruising past GA hides on the way south taking the opportunity to be choosy for a change. Next one for the trip. TFTC GCA

Out caching with fitzy_1965 and a couple of friends. Quick snap on this one whilst also grabbing a cache nearby. Glad it was the weekend. Would be hard to be stealthy during the week.

Had a long three days of caching with a total of 2054 km done! Enjoyed every minute of it despite some dissapointments as well. Most caches I found were really nice and in good condition, thanks to all the CO for putting them out there! Trip Kiama-down the Hume to Albury/Wodonga-Along the Murray to Cobram-back to NSW and via Hay to Ivanhoe=back down to Griffith-Temora-Yass and home.

#GA1138 - 17:55; Out on a caching mission with Sol de lune and toy hunters which had taken us south to Gundagai and then west through to Grong Grong. Ardlethan was to be our last caching stop before we headed for home, so made our way in to locate and snap the local CORS and grab the GC trad nearby. TFTT Geocaching Australia

Tenting at Temora ...
On a decidedly unsuccessful hunt for TS trigs the Missy Garmin chose a back way to the GZ ... easily sighted but disconcerting to photograph outside (thankfully bereft of kidlets) preschool.

A nice little country town with a free camp area too.
This one was easy to spot but there were quite a few muggles at the building so we took our photo from the nearby GC cache site. The CORS transmitter is a bit hard to see but is on the roof at the left hand end of the building closest to the road. Thanks.

A quick visit on my way back from Hay after picking up a repaired vehicle. No dramas finding this one.

Due to work commitments I had to move my trip day from Monday to Friday. This time I decided to head a bit further west. Not as many caches but a good drive and five trigs along the way. Thanks.
