Day 3 in our road trip west, we woke up in Hay this morning and the weather was finally starting to clear, we were long over due for getting someone of our gear and tent back to its regular dry and comfortable state. A lovely but very flat part of the world
Another CORS unit this one was really easy to park at the gate and grab a quick snap

When I heard that TemoGeoDad (TGD) and Geomum (GM) was heading to Hay, I decided on asking if I could catch a lift so I could go Geocaching around the area. Unfortunately, TGD missed out on finding these caches as he was going to Hay for other reasons. So, after they dropped themselves off, I was given the car keys and headed off for the day of caching. I started the day by finding the caches on the outskirts of town and then I headed back to Hay to find the central ones. I also visited many of the unique locations that Hay has to offer. Out of the possible 15 finds, I made 14. I couldn’t find the last one because muggles were around GZ all day playing cricket. Anyway, I enjoyed my day out and soon it was time to pick up TGD and GM, so we could head home. TB visit and all caches were in good condition. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTC!
My third and final trig of the day. A nice quick find at GZ and now off to the next one.
P.S. According to the sign on the fence, this trig maybe out of action for a little while as they are starting renovations to the building very soon.

Found this afternoon with the lovely Kitty Katch and Joolay after we unexpectedly met up in Hay. Thanks for the great drive girls and thanks to Geocaching Australia for publishing these trigs for us to find.

We're making our way from Mildura to Hay today and had this one on our list. Helps that it's not very far from where we're staying. TFTC
Heading in to Hay, we did a detour to find this CORS. Spotted it from the drive but the gates were open so was able to get a little closer. TFTT

While I had been through Hay more than a week before, I hadn't looked for the local Trigs then, but on my way back home from a theatre nurses conference in Adelaide I made a point of looking for, and photographing this CORS Trig.

GCA 1861. Found during a run around this area with Albida33.
Very happy with the number of GCA Trigs, CORS and Trads plus a few B&W's caches we managed this trip. Quick find and then moved on to the next one.

Had a long three days of caching with a total of 2054 km done! Enjoyed every minute of it despite some dissapointments as well. Most caches I found were really nice and in good condition, thanks to all the CO for putting them out there! Trip Kiama-down the Hume to Albury/Wodonga-Along the Murray to Cobram-back to NSW and via Hay to Ivanhoe=back down to Griffith-Temora-Yass and home.

Found the CORS attached to the Water Treatment building in Hay. There was no one around so we went through the open gates to get a closer shot of the antenna.
A quick visit while in Hay to pick up a repaired vehicle. No dramas finding this one.

#GCA 125 - 15:15; Day one of Sol de lune and LuckyL10n's great big SA Road Trip was heading into the home stretch. We circled through Hay so I could pick up the local GC caches and decided we might as well grab the GCA caches on offer too. TFTC GA
