We had been away rock climbing at Mt Arapiles near Horsham. Unfortunately my climbing partner had an injury that lead us to not be able to finish our week of climbing and we were looking for another way to make the trip home longer and more interesting so we decided to get a string of trigs and caches on the way. Nice and easy to spot this one from the roadside quickly pulling over and getting a snap and on our way we went

A quick stop on the way through Jerilderie. TFTT

A quick trip to the big island to attend a family funeral in NSW has given us the opportunity to look for a few GCA caches along the way. This was a chance to stretch our legs in Jerilderie and make a couple of finds. TFTC

My husband and I are on our way home to Melbourne, after a holiday in the Gold Coast and Cairns. This is our last day of travel and my husband is eager to get home. After stopping at the Jerilderie Bakery for morning tea I just had time to walk here to grab a quick photo of this CORS before we were on our way again.

On our way south on our way to Alexandra via Moree, Dubbo, Shepparton, Bendigo, Canberra and then finally Alexandra. Doing as many as we can as I have to drive for three hours from Nannango to find GA hides away from home. As I am literally just cruising past GA hides on the way south taking the opportunity to be choosy for a change. Next one for the trip. TFTC GCA

It has taken us some time to work through all the photos we took whilst on our major excursion to get to Brisbane (for a family wedding) via Echuca, Griffith, Cobar, Bourke and Stanthorpe. It was a great trip, one which we will remember for a long time because of the very different landscape types that we went through, the unique characters of each of the towns visited, the wildlife (we hadn't seen very large flocks of emu roaming before)and the different community activities and tourist features.

As we drove from Echuca to Griffith, we stopped in Jerilderie and located the CORS antenna on a public building (Shire Council Offices?). The added photo is of Mrs y'stassie standing in front of the building with the CORS antenna mounted on the wall behind her. Thanks Geocaching Australia for the cache.

#GA1816 - 12:50; Day one of a caching mission to Victoria with Sol de lune. We headed over to Coolamon then south through Jerilderie and Finley before heading west to Deniliquin and then on to Wanganella before heading back through Deni and on to Mathoura, Moama and then Echuca where the caching finished on dark. Grabbed a bite to eat on the way through Bendigo and on to Creswick, which will be home base for the week. Stopped to grab a snap of the CORS as we circled the block in search of an eatery. Murry River Victoria 2015. With a weekend away it was time to do some Brass Monkey camping. Today turned into a survey mark day on the way home.
