Its basically Trig Porn at this location with the CORS/POSITIONING AUSTRALIA STATION very close

We didn't walk up as it was fenced off anyway. First red and white one we've found

Last evening in Mt Isa, for this trip anyway, so out to grab a cache or more. First one.

Alice trip 2017. Day 23. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I continued east from Barkley Homestead as far as Mount Isa. Not much to see but we managed a few more of the trigs out this way today.

After our final night in the NT at Barkly Homestead we were now heading east and had crossed the Queensland border headed and reached our next stop over in Mt Isa. This was our last trig stop for the day, although we did collect a few more caches before calling it a day. TFTT Geocaching Australia

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1454. Found during Day 15 of my epic 21 day visit to Alice Springs for the Red Centre Experience Event and further travels after that.

Flew into Alice Springs and met up with my fellow intrepid team members Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n for the start of an amazing trip throughout the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and eventually back to Canberra. The Red Centre Experience is the main attraction of course, but also on our agenda are a lot of GC Caches, lots of trigs, as well as plenty of GCA Trads, History and Virtual Caches (and maybe the odd beer or two ??!! Smile. Go Clan Cerberus !

Another trig for the trip. We were now heading south and east again, and we managed to get to this trig. Photo taken. Then it was back in the car and off to the next one !

Another trig added to the dragonZone list. I really enjoy finding trigs and also the new CORS that are popping up everywhere !

Now heading towards Mt Isa and then further afield with LuckyL10n, fitzy_1965 and albida and stopped by to grab a few of he trigs along the way. No problems with the one we attempted...so all good there.

I found this Trig while looking for a CORS for the summer scavenger series. I later found a CORS in the middle of Mount ISA
