on a mission to find all act trig points

This trig needs some TLC.

Popped in here to grab this trig on my way back to a meeting. Glad I came in daytime as there is a very well set up camp just by the trig. No one around to disturb today, but I may have given them a fright at night!

Got myself turned around a little before finally spotting the trig.

Another trig. Another shot in battleship. Thanks

This afternoon I had a wonderful time targeting Trig caches around the area. I have actually photographed 9 trigs but will only log 8 as I am hoping to claim the 8th one when I get around to walking up closer to it. Thanks Geocaching Australia for publishing all these trigs to challenge us to get away from the locationless that are so numerous at the moment. Apologies for the generic logs. Has to be the saddest trig I’ve seen in the ACT. They are usually in such magnificent spots, but this one is hidden and rotting away. So sad.

Last place I thought I'd ever find a trig. Always parked my car near it and never even knew it was there.

We needed one more trig to earn out 100th Trig trophy for Dragonzone and this was the only trig between where we were and where we are camped at EPIC so it was the target. This one was a very easy find.

A hard trudge up to this one. It took a whole minute.

Come by here after work to do some GC cache in the area and do this trig, the GC at the trick I couldn't find but at least the nice old trig was found and worth the little detour.

Quick snap this afternoon. Amazing how hidden it is.

After DNF'ing the GC cache at this location it clicked that this was a trig point so I realised it is almost guaranteed to be a GA cache.
Took a pic and when I got home found the listing easy enough Smile
Thanks for the very accessible trig!

F(H)ound It! @11:00am

That has got to be the easiest TRIG! And what is with the random street light in the bush?
Easy parking and a couple of nearby traditional caches makes this a worthwhile stop.

Such a quaint trigpoint! A very quick wander from the carpark; the dog and I then went for an adventure around the AIS

A demanding trig to get to WinkNot Talking !
I have been here before for a GC cache, but then I wasn't logging trigs. I returned today to take a photograph, so as to log it. LOTS of good parking RibbitRibbitRibbitRibbitRibbitVery Happy.

Nearly a drive by trig. I was on my way home from gungahlin so thought I would cross one more GCA trig off my list of to finds. Interesting spot for a trig I reckon not sure it would be visible from very far away

Used to go orienteering hereabouts way back in the 70's, when the only establishment within cooee was the CCAE. Thanks for the double whammy Cankid.

Ribbit Found while hunting for a cache for the calendar and couldn't resist logging the trig as well. Trig was certainly easier to find! TFTT Ribbit

Found while doing a nearby GC cache. A bit dilapidated but interesting.

Found on a hot morning around Belconnen. While getting the nearby cache, we quickly took a photo for this as well. A nice trigpoint design that I haven't seen before. TFTC GCA! Clan Cerberus

I've cached in this area before but have never seen this old Trig.

Thanks Cankid !

Found with GrimRaider and Mr Roo while out doing a cache maintenance run. Decided to grab the new Tiny Trig cache and then bag this one too. Great little trig - a surprise to find it here. TFTC

That's not a real trig....this is a real trig.....

Cool - a trig - I love trigs! As per normal with trigs, I made sure I was well prepared.
- 2 litres water - check
- gaiters - check
- warm clothes - check
- rain proof jacket - check
- some food for lunch - check
- map of area - check
- eiperb - check
- tell someone where I'm going, and when I'm expected back - check

OK - good to go! Set off from the suggested carpark, and the hike began! Due to steepness of terrain, and altitude, I needed to take many rest stops on the way up! Got there in the end! In glorious sunshine! (But could see rain clouds approaching - so I better not dawdle up here!). The views were not as good as I hoped, but still, always nice finding another trig! A very odd trig this one. It's a proper trig, but not listed anywhere I can find!

#GA159 - 21:10; Out with MrDamage in search of our daily cache. Spotted this trig as the likely starting point for a recently published GC cache, which turned out to be very close indeed. TFTC Geocaching Australia Very Happy
