Stopped at the service station and was excited to see that the CORS was right behind me.
A quick find as I noticed this one as I was driving along a side street. Thanks Geocaching Australia. Photo to be added.
What a fabulous day today. Blue skies, sun, beautiful green rolling hills and successful caching experiences. It was so good to be able to set my own timetable and not worry about holding other people up. I love the social aspect of town caching but the solitude of rural caching is so calming.
Today’s trip from Canberra to Jindabyne, Bombala, Cooma and home again involved 18 caches – 8 GCAs and 10 GCs as well as covering two new dragon zones. Many thanks to all the COs, especially DSD who helped me out to ensure I didn’t have to record any DNFs, for placing and maintaining these caches adding to my enjoyable caching experience.

On our trip from Orbost to Eden today, we detoured to visit Bombala to look for this CORS. Although we could not get to the building, we got a very clear view of the CORS antenna between two houses. Two photos have been added to the Gallery. Thanks for the cache.
Found this along with some other caches whilst on a mission to retrieve one of my movables down here. Stayed overnight in Bombala with my girlfriend and after we had checked into the hotel and had dinner we headed over to this at first we went the wrong direction. And then headed around to find much better access to enable a photo right up at it.

Came for a day drive to garb this CORs and claim a cache in this dragonZone. No problems on a Saturday afternoon and the required photo was grabbed...from right underneath.
Thanks for another CORs....

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1191 - 12022 overall cache finds.
Found while on a caching run with mtrax and LuckyL10n doing the Saphire Surprise Tour (SST) and Brickfield Hill (BFH) series down the coast. While I mainly looked for GC caches, when an easy GCA cache comes along we go for that as well. Trigs are particularly nice to track down and find. I was very happy when they became part of the GCA cache family. Its especially satisfying if you have made a big climb up for one ! I have also now joined dragonZone in Clan Cerberus, so there are more reasons to find those GCA caches. Its interesting to find the many different types of trigs. From the traditional metal legs and vanes, to the concrete base with vanes, to the ones on top of water tanks (especially the red ones !), as well the new CORS type. When you look on a GCA map and see all those hundreds and hundreds of blue 'Z's it shows just how many there are out there. Shame so many are on private property and cannot be accessed at all. So as far as I'm concerned every trig that can be found and photographed is a real bonus !
The trig was quickly 'found'. Piccie taken and posted. Another nice CORS grabbed.
Thanks Geocaching Australia !

#GA948 - 18:05; Dropped by this CORS while on a caching tour de force with fitzy_65 and mtrax doing the Sapphire Surprise Tour trail. We were headed for home at this stage, but had taken the detour into Bombala to collect a long range multi and start its sister cache for the return journey, along with a couple of others. Managed top find the right turn of straight up for this one and soon had our snaps in the can. TFTT Geocaching Australia

South Coast January 2015. I spent a few sunny days exploring from Eden to Orbost and beyond. A very interesting part of the country. After forgetting this on the way down, I unexpectedly had a second chance today, so made sure it counted. Thanks.
