Today I am travelling between Griffith and Yass doing a couple of GCA caches plus some faved GC caches. This CORS was not on my list because I wasn't planning on travelling through here, however road works decided differently for me.
Snapped the necessary pic with the captain.

Yass to Cootamundra today, with about all the detours one can imagine. Again a great day of caching with a mix of traditionals and multi's. This one was a quick stop and grab.

Found on a warm summer day for a drive.
Mainly good safe hides and some quick finds.
Had to get in the right spot for the right angle.
Thanks for the cache GCA,

A quick find on a beautiful day in this part of the world. We've been travelling around the area using caching as our guide. This CORS was one of our last finds today. Third find in a row by a Tassie team!! TFTC
This angle parking is a bit hard to get used to and it seemed that everyone was well out of the lines. We crossed the road from our parking spot but couldn't see the CORS from there. Walked around the back of the building but couldn't spot it from there either.
Our next option was the front of the building and it was quickly spotted from there.
The first photo I took wasn't very clear due to the position of the sun so I had to take a second one which only shows Mr Beetle's hand, the GPS and the CORS.
Thanks.

It was very cold in Cootamundra this morning but with the promise of a great winters day. Our first task was to visit the Cootamundra CORS. The required photo has been added to the Gallery. Thanks for the cache.
Started at Bathurst bright and early for a bit of a trip down south, have a few trigs picked up to go after, got a relaxing trip as have to be back home on Saturday see how far I can go & how many trigs I can get photos of on the trip. This was the first stop on the third day was a start at Cootamundra CORS, spotted on top of the building and took the required photo once I found a spot to shoot from. Thanks for the trig Geocaching Australia. Going to have to get a move on to see some more areas.

Found with OtterCreek29 while I was visiting and we looked everywhere and gps kept say 15m away and we were hitting the brick wall, walked around the other side to try and still 10m out. mmmm now to look at other logs and bam should have thought of that. tftc Geocaching Australia

Darzee Di is home for a visit and has introduced me to GA. II just need to learn to look all around me instead of only directly in front of me!!
What to do on this lovely morning? How about finding the rest of the Geocaches in Coota before I start work this afternoon. I decided on Coota because I knew there was some new caches put out since the last time I was there. It was a nice trip to Coota. I loved the hike/drive around and my lunch (consisting of Buffalo wings and a Gatorade) before coming home. Thank you to CO for the caches I found and for the fun I had today.
Last cache of the day. Another nice quick find. TFTC. Now time for lunch as it is now midday and to head home and get ready for work.

Found 6:08pm with LuckyL10n. I was out on a caching run with LuckyL10n and his partner and friend. We were doing a large loop to grab GC and GCA caches, trigs and CORs. This was the last one for the day and being a cold windy wet day it was also about time. The CORs could be seen but to get a photo more light was required so did my usual trick and played the torch onto the CORs for our photos. Now off to home still some distance away. Again a bit of history in this town too.

#GA700 - 18:10; I had sown the seed yesterday with the geohoney that we should go for a Sunday drive through the local countryside and perhaps collect a cache or two along the way. An itinerary was then hastily arranged and the geohoney's friend and MrDamage confirmed for the tour. We had picked up a few caches on our way through Yass, Rye Park and the trig near Boorowa, which saw MrD and I get a little damp, on to Young, Temora, Junee Reefs and now in Cootamundra for a last stop. After parking the geomobile, the snaps of this CORS were taken by torch light as it was now after dark . Once the snaps were in the can, it was off for home again after a longish, but successful, day on the road. TFTC Geocaching Australia

On my last trip north there was not enough time to stop at Cowra, so I decided on a day trip. When I listed all the caches between Young and Cowra I had quite a list I could try to do. So off I went. Thanks.

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1044 - 10300 overall cache finds.
Found during a Temora, Junee and Cootamundra caching run with ZZ7. While I mainly looked for GC caches, when an easy GCA cache comes along we go for that as well. Trigs are particularly nice to track down and find. I was very happy when they became part of the GCA cache family. Its especially satisfying if you have made a big climb up for one ! I have also now joined dragonZone in Clan Cerberus, so there are more reasons to find those GCA caches. Its interesting to find the many different types of trigs. From the traditional metal legs and vanes, to the concrete base with vanes, to the ones on top of water tanks (especialy the red ones !), as well the new CORS type. When you look on a GCA map and see all those hundreds and hundreds of blue 'Z's it shows just how many there are out there. Shame so many are on private property and cannot be accessed at all. So as far as I'm concerned every trig that can be found and photographed is a real bonus !
A nice quick 'find' of this CORS after doing the Captains Walk. Piccie taken and posted.

Travelling to Wagga Wagga today we grabbed some caches on the way and this was one of them.
Staying in Coota for work and this was just down the road from my motel. A short walk in the morning cool and it was easily spotted. Once you know what you're looking for these are simple.
