Out with Black Bunny for a midweek break and spotted this one as we were passing.
A quick grab here today.
Thanks for the trig.

Off on a mid week break with Just a cacher to enjoy the sunshine and follow the river for a while when we noticed that this cache was nearby.
After finding a spot to pull over with a view of the trig it was a quick grab and then on our way again.
Thanks for the trig.

Was not sure how to get in close here.
Then I spotted a likely spot to trek.
Before long I was on the fence line.
I took a photo and was off.

Another big day today chasing mostly trigs in dz that I don't have finds in yet. Took lots of photos, often from inside the car and will post appropriate one for each find.
This was a tricky one to get a photo of the actual trig. We might not be able to much longer.

Hard to spot behind the greenery. I had to stand on top of something to see it.

Making our way from Albury to Wangaratta today, not far by most people's standards but when you're hunting for GCA caches it ended up being a long day. You can just see the CORS in the attached photo, if you squint. It's down there through the bars on the gates

Last day of our stay by the lake, and I went for another morning walk, this time to try and add another pair of caches on each side of the border for the Two State challenge. That ended up being a bit of a bust, but on the way, I visited this CORS, and built up an appetite for the promised pancake, bacon and eggs for brekky.
Thanks, Geocaching Australia.

We are still working through our photos and we came across photos of the Mulwala CORS. Good photos are difficult to obtain because the CORS is on a building inside a security fence with quite dense trees between the outside of the fence and the CORS antenna. It was windy and we had to take quite a number of photos until we got some where the branches of the trees were not totally blocking the view of the CORS antenna. Two of these photos have been added to the Gallery. Thanks Geocaching Australia for the cache.
This location was a little more than a short walk from the bus so we commandeered a car from a friendly traveler and drove out the a look through and over the fence. The Cors was eventually spotted by standing up tall, bending on just the right angle then holding the camera with an outstretched arm.
#GA1984 - 15:00; Day six of a caching mission around western Victoria with Sol de lune and we were now headed for home. The plan for today was to head north through Central Goldfields and on to Castlemaine, Bendigo, Shepparton, Cobram and Yarrawonga before crossing the border into Mulwala and then on to Rand, Lockhart then home. After collecting a few caches around Bendigo, Shepparton and then Cobram, we had now crossed the river back into NSW. Stopped off so I could grab this CORS on the way past as Sdl had picked it up on a previous visit. TFTT Geocaching Australia

Yep, hard to see because of the trees, however the rood items are there.

Drove all round this one at first then retraced our track. By turning left (south) off Bayly Road into an unmarked but obvious driveway we managed to get within 60 metres in the car and was then able to walk to within 19 mtrs. Very difficult to see because of the trees and high fence. All gates had locks on.
I had a long weekend planned to visit the Victorian border region for a bit of caching. I had a great time and managed to get to many caches over the time I was away. This was a bit of a detour, made worse because I missed the driveway first time past. Quite an interesting facility here. Thanks
