Official name of this Trig Station as per NSW Department of Lands is: Woodenbong CORS.
Serial number is: TS 12214R.
(CORS Continually Operating Reference Stations) collecting geodetic data from GNSS.

Someone conveniently left the gate open, thank you haha. Quick visit while passing through town. In the area for some camping and hiking. Thanks for the cache.

I was passing through The Bong today, and decided it's about time to find this CORS. I didn't want to get too close, as there were people working close by, but the zoom on the camera did all I needed it to do!
2nd of the two find in Woodenbong. No problems spotting the CORS, even though we couldn't drive up to it.

#GA3602 - 08:35; Day 5 of the tour de South East Queensland with Sol de lune as we wrap up our caching and get ready to head for home tonight. An early morning change of plans saw us head south through the picturesque countryside from Beaudesert to Woodenbong which enabled us to claim a find in Kyogle dragonzone. Stopped off on our way into town to log the local ICEM cache before heading further through the town for this CORS. Pulled up at the gate and grabbed the obligatory snaps to claim the find. TFTC Geocaching Australia

After a nice drive through the town of Woodenbong we took Roseberry St then the dirt road on the right to get the station. The station is near the sewage settling ponds. There is a security fence around the CORS.
