Another trip from home to Wagga for a two hour BusNSW meeting and a small number of caches along the way. The highlight was finally having a chance to venture a long way off normal roads for a rarely found GC cache (in fact, only 11 finders since 2005).
It was bucketing down rain last time I passed through "verandah town" so today it was good to have a bit of late sunshine and a couple of minutes for a quick stop and snap.

With a day off in hand plus many unfound caches still on the radar to find, I headed out to add a few more to my name. I decided that I would attack the caches in or near the Galore Hill area. This ended up being a great choice because this is the type of caching I enjoy. This includes: bush walking/hiking, great views and common ‘but’ different hides. After this, I headed into Lockhart for some lunch and to avenge a few past DNF’s. I ended up with 18 finds which is made up with 14 GC and 4 GCA caches. Most caches were quick finds and there were many enjoyable types of hides which made for a great day out. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO’s for the caches I found and for allowing them to bring me and the rest of the caching community much joy. TFTC’s

#GA1987 - 16:50; Day six of a caching mission around western Victoria with Sol de lune and we were now headed for home. The plan for today was to head north through Central Goldfields and on to Castlemaine, Bendigo, Shepparton, Cobram and Yarrawonga before crossing the border into Mulwala and then on to Rand, Lockhart then home. After collecting a few caches around Bendigo, Shepparton and then Cobram, we had now crossed the river back into NSW. Made it to Lockhart for our last caching stop. Grabbed a couple of snaps then hit the road for home after a long week on the road. TFTT Geocaching Australia
