Description
A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ and photograph it.
Official Code: TS10206R
There are two lighthouses here, one historic, the other its replacement. If you're travelling this far there is an Earthcache & another trig on the way plus two good camping sites. Fees apply.
To log a find on the Geocaching Australia website, you will need to include a picture of the trig point, along with your GPS receiver and (preferably) yourself. Long distance / telephoto type pictures are against the spirit of this cache. You are encouraged to leave a description of your journey in your log to help others in finding the trig point.

We were out exploring the Ben Boyd National Park area on an overcast but nonetheless enjoyable day.
Plenty of fascinating information boards, plaques and the like were scattered along the trail and I took some time to read them before taking a few pictures and soaking in the view.
A few of the aforementioned pictures are attached to this log.
Thanks to Geocaching Australia for this Trig Point!

Have visited this location several times & found a photo I'd taken when visiting the Ly-ee-Moon Cemetery in 2012. Old & new lighthouses.

Late in the afternoon today we made our way (along very dusty roads) to the Green Cape Lighthouse. It is a most interesting place to visit from the perspective of maritime history and technology. We were also very lucky to see a sea eagle hovering in the air currents and a large wombat on the lawns. The lighthouse is certainly a very impressive structure and its dual use as a trig point is very understandable. The required photo has been added to the Gallery. Thanks for the cache.

"Just one more.. "
That familiar refrain is quite often the precursor to an adventure, and this was definitely one of those cases.
What can I say about that road? It's definitely an adventure all by itself, and poor leafotwind's comments about night making it even more interminable than it might otherwise be definitely had its merits.
But we got to the Earthcache, eventually. My revenge on leafotwind?
I grew up on the edge of the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, so have had a fair amount of experience driving similar roads in the Otways. The payoff, usually, has quite literally been the light at the end of the dark track. And tonight, after getting so close, I was determined to make it so. My grandfather, you see, was an assistant keeper, and my father spent his early childhood in isolated places like that.
Thanks, leafotwind, for doing the extra miles so I could see the Green Cape lighthouses.

Road trip!
leafotwind and I had meticulously planned a trip in the opposite direction to fill a few gaps on a variety of challenges, but with the weather forecast to be reminiscent of an Activities Week tour of all the wet holes in the southwest of the state when I was in high school, a mad scramble ensued to come up with a scheme to complement those goals towards the eastern border instead.
Crossing off a few of the Country Road Atlas maps, finding a March, 2001 placement and a whole lot of Earthcaches meant we got in to Mallacoota just before midnight. Now for day two..

Came to Eden especially to visit this Lighthouse, the most Southey in NSW and an awesome spot, a bit of a drive along the gravel road but my low Commodore UTE managed it. I am surprised to be only the third person to log this one. Beautiful views of Disaster Bay and along the coastline on a sunny day. You can even stay here if you want. TFTC.

Found with Relish64 on a weekend trip in this part of the world. We even spotted some whales and seals frolicking in the ocean below. A great spot to visit.

SE Coast and mountains drive trip. November 2015. After a night at Eden I headed into Ben Boyd NP for a few caches. Three GCAs, two at the cape light house.
Thanks
