Description
A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ and photograph it.
Official Code: TS4503R
The Lighthouse is the trig. The tower was constructed in 1873 on the Ulladulla Breakwater and relocated in 1889 to Warden Head. It is one of only two wrought iron lighthouses in NSW. There is another traditional style trig a few metres away.
To log a find on the Geocaching Australia website, you will need to include a picture of the trig point, along with your GPS receiver and (preferably) yourself. Long distance / telephoto type pictures are against the spirit of this cache. You are encouraged to leave a description of your journey in your log to help others in finding the trig point.

We were visiting the lighthouse for a GC cache and saw this trig and thought oh I wonder if theres a GCA cache here Wow 3 caches here.
This morning we headed on a drive from Bendalong Point to Lake Conjola to do some birdwatching, and on to Ulladulla to do some Trigs. Always happy to photograph a Lighthouse! TFTT

Same type of lighthouse as the one at Wollongong

This is the most perfect little light house well worth come to have a look. Loving the view even on a overcast, potentially stormy day!

Quick and easy park and grab from the car on a grey and rainy day in Ulladulla.

Out for a coffee with oldmorty in Milton when we decided to go find a few GA caches.
On our way south and a few caches. A nice but short respite from the highway holiday traffic
On our way home from Batemans Bay after a great 5 days caching, we managed another 10 trigs today as we went.... lighthouses are always a treat.

A beautiful lighthouse in a gorgeous location. My car is in the background.
Having spent hours every day since mid March sitting at my computer logging Locationless caches, today I dcided to spend hours sitting in my car searching out trigs and maybe a virtual. I left Captains Flat earlyish and travelled via Braidwood, Nerrigah and down to the coast near Georges Basin. From there I headed south grabbing trigs along the way to Bateman's Bay and back up the Clyde Mountain to Home. Thanks for all the trigs Geocaching Australia. I will add notes that are pertinent to each trig if they stand out in my mind. I will have to add photos later to all logs as the photos are on my phone.

Some council work blocked the road to here, but a bush track from th3 car park offered a convenient detour.

I'd logged the traditional type trig here years ago but didn't know the lighthouse is also classed as a trig. As in the area popped by to snap it.
WE visited the Ulladulla area this morning and, in particular, headed out to the lighthouse. The required photo, showing Mrs y'stassie standing at the base of the lighthouse, has been added to the Gallery. Thanks for the cache.
Headed down to Ulladulla for the day with the geo-kids. Stopped by here for a quick pic at this and the nearby trig. Got to love some unloved!

Two trigs for the one visit. Always a bit of fun. Add in the lighthouse and the drive out is certainly worth it.

After grabbing the required photo of this rusty lighthouse we wandered over to join the numerous muggles here watching a group of whales pass. What was more amusing though was a seal feeding a lot closer to us and his amusing antics. Thanks.
Thought I had done this one already, but it was very well hidden behind another icon on the map! Think the lighthouse needs a paint job or a clean, but otherwise a great spot to come!

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1205 - 12362 overall cache finds.
Found while on a caching run with specimenX down the coast - a really fun trip with lots of cache finds. While I mainly looked for GC caches, when an easy GCA cache comes along we go for that as well. Trigs are particularly nice to track down and find. I was very happy when they became part of the GCA cache family. Its especially satisfying if you have made a big climb up for one ! I have also now joined dragonZone in Clan Cerberus, so there are more reasons to find those GCA caches. Its interesting to find the many different types of trigs. From the traditional metal legs and vanes, to the concrete base with vanes, to the ones on top of water tanks (especially the red ones !), as well the new CORS type. When you look on a GCA map and see all those hundreds and hundreds of blue 'Z's it shows just how many there are out there. Shame so many are on private property and cannot be accessed at all. So as far as I'm concerned every trig that can be found and photographed is a real bonus !
The trig was quickly 'found'. Piccie taken and posted. Always nice to be able to drive right up to - in this case - 2 trigs !!
Thanks Geocaching Australia !

Nice and easy to find this Light House Trig as you can drive right up to it. I was lucky enough to spot some whales off shore today which was a first. Worth stopping for a great old light house. TFTT.

Found it without too much difficulty this is my second visit ever. I'll be making a third visit, I didn't get a photo of the trig. I have seen a few lighthouses in my time. Since I have begun geocaching I have found a liking for various things, one being lighthouses, so I'm making it a mission to see as many as I can. This one isn't as grand as some I have seen, but it is a little cutie. Thanks for the cache.
Out and about with the hubby what a great spot I had to do a selfie with this one

#GA616 - 14:35; I was headed home after a night in Nowra and called in to collect this trig on the way past. I had bagged the other trig at this location ages ago, so that made for a pretty quick detour. Also managed to spot a young seal playing out on the reef below. TFTT Geocaching Australia

On the way to a dive trip in Ulladulla I took a few minutes to come here and get another trig knocked off. Thanks

Visited this one while geocaching on holidays in the area.
I had difficulty getting a photo nearby so the photo was taken a little way around the headland.

After the disappointment of not finding anything at Red Head this was an easy find, being big & white.
