I had been caching in Mulligans, with Joolay and Albida, for the afternoon. I then went back in by myself for a couple more (2 they had found, and the only 2 in that little area that I niw hadn't) then as I was leaving, I saw that the sign said "no through road" and "no vehicle access to Canberra Centenary Trail" but it didn't say I wasn't allowed to drive along the road... so... I decided to "smile for the camera" and see what was here, and if I actually could get to any of these trigs
I got to one, then found the "private property" gate... but the fence was easy to cross, so I parked near there, and came for a walk/run up to this one. Decided to do just this one more, because there isn't enough daylight left to walk to/from the others up here, so I will get those another day...
Nice view from up here... but time to run back down to the car - getting a bit cold up here for jeans abd singlet... and I have 2 more GC caches to find just out along the road before I head home for dinner

Found on a trip to ACT with alnic39, teamMerlin and Splitty Miller JJCC. Al brought along his mountain bike which came in handy a few times but mainly for the return journey as he road down to get the car while we only had to walk to the nearest exut point to NSW side of the trail. Thanks for the trig a lot stranger to a NSW trig. Picture attached as requiredÂ

2nd of 5 of a trig run along the Northern border. This one had a bit of a view, the following ones were even better.
-7 degrees in Goulburn this morning.....so madness prevailed and I drove/walked up to this trig for a bit of exercise on the way to work in Canberra. Gorgeous views across the Gundaroo Valley.

I sloshed along the track, which was more creek in places, on this very wet day and was able to log five trigs. The views were not much though with the misty conditions.

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1132 - 11298 overall cache finds.
Found during a run up here along the CCT today with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n. While I mainly looked for GC caches, when an easy GCA cache comes along we go for that as well. Trigs are particularly nice to track down and find. I was very happy when they became part of the GCA cache family. Its especially satisfying if you have made a big climb up for one ! I have also now joined dragonZone in Clan Cerberus, so there are more reasons to find those GCA caches. Its interesting to find the many different types of trigs. From the traditional metal legs and vanes, to the concrete base with vanes, to the ones on top of water tanks (especialy the red ones !), as well the new CORS type. When you look on a GCA map and see all those hundreds and hundreds of blue 'Z's it shows just how many there are out there. Shame so many are on private property and cannot be accessed at all. So as far as I'm concerned every trig that can be found and photographed is a real bonus !
Today was a big day for us. We had planned on having a big numbers today (29 Feb) for nearly 2 years in order to smash our stats for the date. When the CCT trails started to appear around Canberra we new that this was the answer to what we wanted to do. So a plan was hatched and we rode along both this northern half and thern through the Goo for well over 100 GC cacahes for the day - Woo Hoo !
The trig was quickly 'found'. Piccie taken and posted.
Thanks Geocaching Australia !

#GA715 - 18:20; I was out on a stroll along the Centenary Trail and happened a cross a couple of recently published trigs along the way. This was the fourth of five along the eastern end of the track I did today. TFTC Geocaching Australia
