A trig point in Captains Flat, used to monitor the Dam wall for structural soundness.

I had brought smittengranny down here to check out her nearby cache which had disappeared yet again so I am claiming this trig for myself as I wasn't caching previously.
Found whilst out and about with fitzy_1965, kitty katch & Joolay trying to find a nearby GC.

Drove down here to try out the new car - all good; to check out my GC cache nearby ' not good, it's disappeared, and to grab this cache - all good.
A bonus trig whilst finding the nearby cache. Enjoyed the bumpy drive down to here. TFTTP

A lovely view of the dam from here. We drove part way along the dirt track, but parked at the top of the descent and walked from there, which was just as well as it turned out, as my car would have fallen into some of the canyons in the road and not got out again. A bigger vehicle than mine would be needed to negotiate them.

Returned to Captains Flat today to tackle the caches requiring 4x4 access and this was one of them. Made this one a drive in drive out trig which was a great track. Not one for inexperienced 4WDers. We loved it.

#GA922 - 11:45; An unexpected joint *FTF* with Sol de lune, fitzy_65 and Tankengine as we ascended the hill in the hunt for another new cache in this area. Our happy snaps dutifully taken, we were in the hunt for our next first to find. A decent descent to get in and a decent ascent to get back out! TFTC Geocaching Australia

An unexpected *FTF* with SDL, Fitzy and LL on the way to a local cache! Nice little spot easy to get to, just not quite so easy to get back!
