Description
Dubbo CORS
CORS (Continually Operating Reference Stations) collecting geodetic data from GNSS. Information regarding CORS including a picture of the receiver can be found on the Land & Property Information site (a NSW Government Service) via http://www.lpi.nsw.gov.au/surveying/corsnet-nsw/network_information To log a find on the Geocaching Australia website, you will need to include a picture of the CORS, along with your GPS receiver and (preferably) yourself. You are encouraged to leave a description of your journey in your log to help others in finding the CORS. This oversized mushroom can be seen from across the road and down on the corner of the main street. It cannot be seen at night as I sadly discovered on Geocaching in Australia's birthday. :)

Thanks for the trig.
Thanks for the trig
Catching up on finds down here today. Enjoyed our 6k walk around Dubbo Town this morning gathering photos etc. TFTC.
We could see this trig through our binocs much further down the street but didn’t have a good enough camera to show it from so far away. Instead the trig is situated about half way between the two satellite dishes on the roof in the pic we have included.
Many thanks for the trig Geocaching Australia
