A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ.
A trig point (also known as a Trigonometric Station) typically consists of a black disc on top of four metal legs or concrete pillar, resembling a navigation beacon.
To log a find on the Geocaching Australia website, you will need to include a picture of the trig point, along with your GPS receiver and (preferably) yourself. Long distance / telephoto type pictures are against the spirit of this cache. You are encouraged to leave a description of your journey in your log to help others in finding the trig point.
Please respect local laws and regulations when searching for trig points. If you believe that a trig point is located on private property or in a dangerous location, you may archive the cache, by clicking on Log this Cache and place an "Archived" log on the Geocaching Australia website.

ABC had a good run all the way up to Birdsville.
Great to visit the hill top here.

Thanks for the trig.
TFTT.
This was one of the many trigs we found while out and about. No issues here and the required photo was soon snapped.
Thanks for another trig....
Day 2 - and we drove from Warren over to Cobar. This Trig was a nice bonus as we visited the Pit Lookout. Wow - that's a big hole !
Thanks GCA !!
Goulburn to Forbes, Nyngen, Cobar, Broken Hill, Wentworth and Balranlad. After a sleep in we left our overnight
stop at Warren and headed to Cobar via Nyngen. There were a few caches along the way, but most of the action
was the Australian Towns series North of Cobar, and a great selection of local caches. The two Earth caches
were the highlight.
The Fort Bourke area was a highlight of this trip.
Thanks
Albida
I almost missed this one. Thanks to albums for running through the list of things we had to do here today.
Awesome area. TFTC

This radio tower is a newer version of trig point and can be easily seen from below. Although some see these metal structures towering above the landscape a eye sores they are a necessary part of our communications system. Before taking our photo of this tower we watched one of the giant trucks make its way slowly down the incline and disappear into the mine tunnel. This is a popular place for visitors so that retrieving the near by caches can be tricky at times.
Our photo of one of us in front of the tower is attached.
Thanks.
