I could only spt the very top from Deccan St, Clifford St is where to go. Lucky it was a Sunday afternoon, you don't want to be shooting into a school with a zoom lens through the week....

Thanks for the Trig. Called in here on our way home from Goulburn. Just couldn't resist 'Just one more.' Took a bit to lay eyes on this one, and lay eyes on it we did.

came here after the same event that Gliss and Nibbletricecakes came here after ... spent ages looking for a sneaky Nd/or missing GC cache nearby, then decided to come around the other side (next to the Hospital) and see if I could actually see it ... there were so many odd looking sticky uppy things on the school buildings that I decided to Google Goulburn2 CORS to see if I could find some info ... and found a photo of it ... oh ... that thing (not the 2 or 3 other weird looking things, that didn't look quite right) ... I wonder how many of the staff and students actually know about it/what it is? - lol
... and I wonder if the GC app will upload this image ... it wasn't working last time I tried (last year).
oh - and my GPS isn't in the photo because my GPS is my smartphone, and I was using it to take the photo
(actually it sort of technically IS "in" the photo - the camera it was taken with is listed in the data it saves with the image)

In town for an icy community event in the park. Perfect opportunity for a last ditch effort collecting shots of the Battleship.
Today was mainly about GC caches but as tomorrow is the end of the Blitz the driver kindly brought me up here to grab the required photo. TFTT Geocaching Australia
Sophoutloud and I stayed the night in Goulburn on our way to Canberra and thought it was mandatory to do a little sight seeing and trig nabbing before leaving town, managed to grab 3 before leaving. took us a little bit to spot this one as it was right in amongst the school buildings, finally managed to spot it peeping above one of the buildings

Being on School grounds posed a minor problem however was able to zoom in from the road on the South side.
Hard to get a photo as CORS is on school grounds. Beautiful old building next door.
Sunday was a good day given the location. Wandered around the place then took a photo, hopefully of the CORS.
One of the many trigs we have found on our travels
Many thanks Geocaching Australia for publishing this cache for our enjoyment and adding to our geocaching experience.

It was a bit hard to spot in the dark. Hopefully it is up there somewhere. TFTT

Driving through town and stopped by to grab a photo of the Goulburn2 CORS. Nice easy find as we pulled up and parked offbthe main road.
Found 8:35pm. I wasn't too sure where to find this, looking at the pictures its obvious some others had no idea and instead took a picture of an air vent. In the dark wasn't too easy either. So I was here with girlfriend after a GIFF event down at the Wesley center. Decided to go and locate this CORS. I started near the GHS cache and then went around the corner but that isn't where it can be seen either. So jumped in the car and then went around the block. AH hah discovered where I can find it was the exact opposite side of the block from where the GHS cache is. In the dark I tried my torch to see how well I can light it up with the zoom on full strength. It was lit up but my Apple iPhone camera came up with pretty crappy picture in the dark. So the girlfriend stepped up with her Samsung phone camera. I know its not got me or my GPS in the photo but it does have the light on it from my torch. Her Samsung camera photo was much better and in zoom mode. Now we can finally go home.

Took a bit of time to find the right spot to take a photo.

Abercrombie River area weekend. It was a bit tricky to get a good line of sight to this one. Good to see more of these about.
Thanks

Parked at the closest point but no sign of the CORS in the school. Read previous finders logs, and wandered around the corner to view it across the school oval. Photo taken with a fair amount of zoom.
GCA 1555. Heading out of town for a run up to the Lithgow area, so stopped for a daily GCA find here at this CORS.
Didnt want to try this one on a school day for obvious reasons !

When we arrived at Goulburn High School, students were present at school and we could not enter to look for the CORS. It took us a while to locate the antenna but we finally found it on the gable of the Assembly Hall. Two photos have been added to the Gallery: the first is taken from the boundaru fence with Mrs y'stassie in the foreground and the Assembly Hall in the distance; the second is a zoom shot of the gable of the Assembly Hall showing the CORS antenna more clearly. Thanks Geocaching Australia for the cache.
#GA1380 - 08:30; Back in Goulburn for a meeting and running early, I decided to grab this new CORS and a couple of previous DNFs. This was the first stop and after a circumnavigation of the High School, spotted the CORS and grabbed a park. Took a long shot and a close up for good measure. TFTC Geocaching Australia

Found while in Goulburn for a Geocaching NSW Invasion weekend.
Photo was taken without entering the school grounds.

As Zal mentions, the cache is on the school grounds and can't be seen from the closet point. However, if you drive around to the Clifford street side of the school, the Cors can be easily spotted on the side of the building. Grabbed my photo and headed off.
As long as no-one tries to access the actual school grounds (and why would you....) I think it's ok to stay. Weekends will obviously be the best time to grab a photo......

Second day of caching in the Goulburn/Crookwell area. The weather is perfect, nice and clear and low twenties, all you can wish for caching. Again a lot of nice caches and a few I missed yesterday, all finished at the event at the historic waterworks. Then rushing back to the Illawarra to make the home event there!
Thanks to all the cache owners for putting out the caches, keep up the good work and nice to have met a few of you last night.

Hard to get a chance to photograph this one as it is on the rear wall of Goulburn High School hall.
