On our way home from holidays and we’ll theres always time for a geocaching stop. Off to find this cors unit and find it we did. A simple park and stop here which made the find easy.

TG47 agreed to detour up here so that I could grab the photo of this CORS. An easy enough thing to do and photo is attached. Thanks for publishing these trigs for us to find Geocaching Australia.

In mid afternoon today we made a brief visit to Boorowa. While there we located the CORS antenna on a building at the sewage treatment works. The required photo has been added to the Gallery. Thanks for the cache.
With a day off and time to spare before the next thing I have on, I decided on doing the caching trail that goes: Temora, Young, Murringo, Boorowa, Yass and back home through Harden. This trail and picking up some new thongs from ‘Rivers’ lead to a great day out. I started the day with the new tree climb in Young which has been on the list for quite some time and then picked up some trigpoints which has been on my to-do-list for quite some time. After this I went to ‘Rivers’ and then headed out to my next stop which was the mystery cache in Murringo. Next were the caches in Boorowa, Yass for lunch and then head home via Harden. I would like to thank all CO’s for placing the caches I found and for the enjoyment they brought me today.
Today’s totals:
13 GC Finds
3 GCA Finds
1 DNF
1 Not Attempted
My third of three trig-points finds today. TFTTP

I had been out to Cowra with the girlfriend and we had passed this on the way to Cowra but decided to do this on the way back. Unfortunately things took longer than anticipated plus taking a lot of time on GCA "Did not finds". Anyway we ended up stopping at Boorowa for dinner on the way back and had a meal at the Chinese restaurant I wouldn't recommend the short soup but the beef and cashew was a very nice meal. We then headed out to this CORS to take the obligatory photos at 9:56pm. Photo done with me lighting it up and the girlfriend taking photo with Samsung which is doing better dark shots than my iPhone does.

Headed back to Cowra today to pick up fitzy's car. Had more time to drop by here and grab a photo. On the way out I thought that I may not be able to see it but the fog burnt off just outside of Boorowa.

Heading so far out of town for a CORS didn't make sense but the antenna was spotted as soon as we pulled up. Thanks.
#GA1663 - 13:05; ay 31 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, our last! Today was the run home from Parkes to Canberra. Sdl and I were headed home from Parkes via Forbes, Grenfell, Young, Boorowa and Yass, while a33 and f65 planned a more direct route via Cowra. This was the last trig stop for the trip and the last of 266 GCA finds too. Found the way to GZ okay and soon had our snaps in the bag. TFTT Geocaching Australia

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1485. Found during Day 21 of my epic 21 day visit to Alice Springs for the Red Centre Experience Event and further travels after that.
Flew into Alice Springs and met up with my fellow intrepid team members Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n for the start of an amazing trip throughout the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and eventually back to Canberra. The Red Centre Experience is the main attraction of course, but also on our agenda are a lot of GC Caches, lots of trigs, as well as plenty of GCA Trads, History and Virtual Caches (and maybe the odd beer or two ??!! Smile. Go Clan Cerberus !
Another trig for the trip. We were now heading south and east again and nearly home, and we managed to get to this trig. Photo taken. Then it was back in the car and off to the next one !
Another trig added to the dragonZone list. I really enjoy finding trigs and also the new CORS that are popping up everywhere !
