I came to a steep ford full of water on the way to this and hesitated. Earlier I had gone through another ford that was deeper than it looked, and that made me hesitate here. I returned to the main road, drove along a little way, and then approached this from the other side. No fords that side. TFTC.

My final cache for the day before I arrive in Quirindi. As the new game starts tomorrow I think, I hope there are plenty of finds for me in between here and home. TFTT Geocaching Australia. Very HappyClan CerberusClan Cerberus

#GA5226 - 11:35; Day 12 of a road trip with Sol de lune for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega and we are now headed for home. After spending the night in Tamworth, we collected a few more caches in the area then on to Gunnedah for a few more before heading towards Quirindi. Took the detour and the dirt track ion to this CORS for me to grab the snap. TFTT Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

CORS have become my favourite trigs - this one wasn't a challenge to spot though - its a very nice shiny one.... if it's wet, approach from the north....

A short-ish detour to find this one along a dirt road. No problems and we were soon at GZ. Photo was soon snapped and it was time to retrace our route and get back to the main road.

Another CORs crossed off...

Detoured off our route to try and grab the FTF on this CORS. At first we wondered where on earth we were going and those concerns deepened when we turned off the bitumen on to the gravel road. We were quite relieved when the Quirindi Water Supply building came in sight and the very obvious CORS antenna was spotted.
Passed a newborn foal on the way to this one, that was exciting!
Thanks.
