We were very surprised to find this CORS antenna inside a school campus. we were lucky that it was Saturday and that cricket was being played which meant that there was access. The required photo is included with this log. Thanks for the cache.

DNF avenged!
Found on our way home from Armidale. Easy on a Sunday morning - the best time for a lot of CORS trigs!

Took a little bit to spot this one. Thanks for the trig.

Looking around Armidale on the Easter long weekend we used some trigs and virtuals as guides on our tour.

We did a couple of laps before finding a good spot to see this one and even then the photo is worth much.
There were a couple of open gates and a few cars in the grounds but we weren't brave enough to sneak in.

We finally managed to see it through the trees at the end of Jewell Avenue.

#GA5190 - 11:33; Day 11 of a road trip with Sol de lune for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega and we are now headed for home. After spending the night in Glen Innes, we headed south through Ben Lomond and Guyra now on to Armidale. After logging the local testline, it was off to find this CORS.
It took a bit of work to find our way in, but managed to locate a spot to grab a snap in the grounds of The Armidale School. TFTT Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Had to head into the car park to grab this one, but being Easter Monday, all was good. Photo snapped and we were on our way again.

That took ages to locate. Go to the end of Jewell Ave and you will see it through the trees.

It was school holidays, so I thought there would be buckleys of photographing this one. But the school was open and not a soul to be found - so we slipped in and took the required photo.

I drove and walked the block looking for this one. The best approach is from the main gate. Being a Private school with all the signs up virtually saying Trespass at your own risk. You would have to ask permission to see this one up close, I think u less you are a parent or very brave to mingle with any group going in. Distant photos as directed by my GPSr. Sorry for the lousy photography.

I didn't feel I should enter private property without permission, especially as there were parades going on (to the right of my photograph) and lines of chairs with people watching. No-one coming or going from the buildings and too many people to witness this lone figure sneaking in. But I was there.

FTF!! Very Happy A surprise new CORS listing in Armidale had us wondering why we hadn't noticed it......until we found out where it was. Located in TAS it's easy to find if you enter the school grounds but not easy to see from outside. There were plenty of people coming and going with sport the day we were there so it was easy to wander in and take a pic.
