Description
A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ.
As most of the Western Australian trig points no longer have a structure the locations identified as trig points on the various topographical maps have been used with data matching from the GOLA database where available.

Logs
Went pretty much straight to what turned out to be GZ But I didn't realise it at first because what I was looking at wasn't like what I had seen here in the galley when I first looked. Took a picture of it, and it wasn't until now that I realise that the actual trig plate was under the steel flap I took a picture of.

On a day off and i had to head to Welshpool for a part for our air con as it is not working in this horrible heatwave. So headed out for a drive and grabbed a couple of other caches en route to Bassendean. I took another detour to grab a moveable then headed back over to Bassendean to grab this cache on the way to Welshpool. Once i arrived at the park i went for a walk and had a look around the park and along the river bank which was very interesting before searching for the trig point. I went to the coordinates and found several pit lids but they just did not fit what i was looking for. So spread my search out a bit more and bingo. I was able to lift the lid and grabbed an obligatory photo with my foot in the way. Thanks for the cache Geocaching Australia.

Stopped by and found this trig point a while ago but forgot about logging it. I will dig the photo out and upload it soon. Thanks for the cache!
Popped open the lid to reveal the survey marker.
Had cached at this park very long time ago.

Out with Chwiliwr researching some more trig locations this time from the Perth 25K map as well as doing some other caches around the area and to the north at Whiteman Park.
We had been here the other day but to a slightly different spot so missed seeing the steel cover in the grass next to the path but today saw it clearly after finding the coordinates on the GOLA database which were different to what we worked out the spot to be from the map.
Under the cover was completely filled with sand so we removed much of it to expose the plate to take an image.
Thanks for the cache.

(Apparently there used to be a lookout towards the fence sometime in the past as it was mentioned in the GOLA information.)
