Description

A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ.

As most of the Western Australian trig points no longer have a structure the locations identified as trig points on the various topographical maps have been used with data matching from the GOLA database where available.

Map: Fremantle NW 1:25K

GOLA reference: Not available at this time.

Aluminium observation plaque with iron pipe set in reservoir on top of easter tower.

Logs

17-Nov-21
Stopped by here after a work meeting nearby

20-Jan-19
A quick stop for a quick shot.

20-Jan-19
Just like where we see trigs in Sydney, but with no mast and vanes.

20-Jan-19
The first of a few trigs for myself and the geokids.

30-Nov-18
I was fortunate to have an RDO today and thought that I could head out and grab a few GCA caches this morning. I targeted a few virtuals and some Trig points that had been on my to do list for far too long. Cheers for the cache!

Out making most of lazy Saturday, braving intermittent rain, on a mad dash for multiple finds.
Glad to see some new trig points published. Have driven near this area multiple times in past.

Chwiliwr took me and the family out after we all got flu shots to identify some more trig points not recorded in the GCA data but marked as a trig point on the Fremantle NW 1:25K topographical map.

Is a bit hard to see from close but we think that the upright pipe was the pipe mentioned.

Image taken from the east down the road a bit to get some view of the top of the reservoir.

Thanks for cache.

Granddad took me, mum and grandma out looking at metal things in the ground and great big water things after they had their flu needles. I was lucky as there was none available for me.

Thank you for the cache.
