Joined with All Strung Out on a blue sky Winter's day on a mission to reach the forest backblocks at this trig point. The 'mushroom does have a soft spot for the trigs that are stone/boulder constructed and Ovens South had vanes also attached. The location is well worth the visit with a sweeping awesome westward vista in the sunshine.

A time limitation sadly prevented the short walk to the 'other' Ovens,
but fortuitously a return was made the next day - a completely different day too, with a bleak cold wind buffeting the hilltop ...

Worth the visit on either day ... stunning location (and a GC cache too).
