Gallery of log for Nanegai (Iluka Bluff)
0115, GAFF1, with this trig also being an Australian Trig Point (Waymarking) entry I definitely wanted to get this one. So even tho I was running low in petrol (and limited cash), I routed myself in to the zone, and sure enough another relatively easy find!
Another typical NSW concrete pedestal, with a name plate. But the usual post and vanes had been removed, and short white plastic cap had been attached on top. This was on a concrete pad, and sits just beside a wooden viewing platform, where in daytime the sign says you may see dolphins or whales frolicking below. Not much to see in the full moon light.
I did get a legful of 'farmers friends', which I pulled off into the rubbish bin back at the interpretation and time line signs back at the car park. Another 'Unloved' trig.
