Gallery of log for NSW State Survey Marks
Ignore the EXIF data on this file, the GPS didn't record it so well, but this one is PM 58464, the first of the permanent markers I tracked down on the road. Amazing to think that everywhere else the marks are in a safe spot so surveyors can setup their equipment, but in the city they're in very awkward positions. Perhaps it's because they rip up or alter the footpaths with more frequency than the roads that it keeps them accurate down there. Found on the corner of Market and Clarence Streets, Sydney.
