The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BVRT) QLD now is open between Yarraman and Linville in this area. Down hill is this way. Yarraman is the start or end of the trail depending on how you walk/ride it. This end is in the Toowoomba regional Council area and the bit of the trail between Blackbutt and the bottom of the range is in the area of the South Burnett Shire Council with the rest of the trail from the bottom of the range in another shires area of control. It is a very popular trail. The railway line used to run between Ipswich and Yarraman. Most of the tail is now open as a recreation trail and the bit that is not open yet is in the plan to continue the trail the whole length of the old railway line.
